2/12/2015 4:33am Most of the plastics were stolen from rm's and Kx's of that era. It definitely drew the biggest crowds each week just a shame that it was underpowered could've done with 100cc at least

10/23/2014 1:58am Oh yes that was my 96 yz 125 I had off Steve Dixon. I believe it was malins british championship bike or one of them. Had pretty much everything left on it except the ohlins forks. Wish I still had it too. You could hear that thing over all the other bikes out on the track it sounded a beast...

10/23/2014 1:12am Whether it takes 2 years or 22 years to finish it will get finished. Life takes over sometimes but that's the beauty of these restorations there's no rush!!! I'm not riding it or competing on it so there's no deadlines.

10/22/2014 2:48pm Well it's been a while as I briefly switched over to the dark side. Tarmac track days!!!!! Love for two wheels never goes away though and now I'm determined to get this project moved on and also to get into twin shock racing. Had a few items acid dipped and bead blasted and I've ebayed all parts that I won't...
Mateaton Started a new thread Pro circuit pipe for cr 250 1985 figment??
8/31/2014 2:46pm I'm never seen for sale a system for the above whether new or wrecked so I was wondering whether anyone knows how much work is involved in fitting a system for an 87 model or even whether it would look right and what brackets need fabricating/moving. There's been a few pipes on eBay lately and I'd take the plunge and...

Mateaton Started a new thread Cr 250 85 skid plate
7/3/2014 2:39pm Hi guys can anyone tell me are there Ny manufacturers out there that make a skid plate for this year or have any other years been compatible. Are the frame rails from say an 86-89 similar dimensions? Thanks guys

2/2/2014 1:18pm Thanks max that's great to hear. I wouldn't have got this far if it wasn't for her. With four young children its hard to find the time sometimes. She actually bought me the bike for valentines last year and if I ever want anything I give her my order and its on its way. Don't get me wrong she still...

2/2/2014 10:04am Haha I've been told never again. Max power she started off sanding from 150 to 1200 grit and various nail file blocks which buffed up things quite nice. Once it was sanded it became grey in patches as though the plastic lacked any 'moisture' so as with the airbox she worked Vaseline in and left it over night. Not sure...
