I found a problem with the frame after I completely stripped the bike, one of the lower frame rails has a small rust hole and a hair line crack through 50% of the tube close to the lower engine mount, it's all due to water and corrosion build up which Apparently is common in the bottom of these frames. I...

I'm in Brisbane. What's the answer if the inner is cracked? Whole new cartridge?

I recently changed my fork seals on an 08 yz250f. I've done seals on duel chamber forks before with no problems, usually I just leave the inner chamber alone though. Anyway, this time on reassembly the inner chamber dampening rod was collapsing under its own weight. I noticed that the 2 oil bleed holes were loosing quite a bit of...

Has anyone encountered this problem with mounting of the rear MC/frame guards. The OEM bolts have a shoulder, but on my frame the bottom hole doesn't have clearance for a shoulder. The WC frame guards also have a machined shoulder. What's the solution? Drill the frame or grind the shoulder off the frame guard? Don't mind the spider...

Cool, how did you get the stem, steering stops, head set bearings etc. to work with the 96 frame tube? I'm assuming you had to make some modifications? What ever you did, it should work with a set of 47mm Showa's?

Great job mate, looks sweet. Where did you get the tank made? If you don't mind me asking what sort of money for one? Are the ohlins forks the same diameter as Showas? What triples did you use and how'd you get them to work? Cheers Jim

Can anyone help me with the correct templates for the 93 CR250 side panels, I'm trying to recreate the factory Honda decals from the time with a local printer here in Australia. I'm also chasing the correct twinair sport filters and AMA logo for the rear mudguard, the rest I've pretty much got sorted.

Also has anyone tried a set of the Chinese radiators for a 96 yet, They obviously sell quite a Few of them on ebay. I've heard good and bad reports about fitment on different models Yamaha's and ktms, but no one with a 96 CR250? Any preference for Winner or GPI brand? I priced getting mine re-cored in Australia and...

Hey col, When you painted your radiators did you paint over the fins, or mask them off and just paint the tank and body? My radiators aren't bad either, l/h is a little worse than right. I've cleaned and blasted the tanks and can't get the light shade of brown out of the fins. I'm guessing a really light coat...

I'm looking to get some decals printed for a 93 factory replica look. Can anyone point me in the direction to find a template/dimensions for the number plate shrouds? Also I'm looking for a view of the top of the rear guard to see what logos I need, have been searching Google and Can only find photos showing the Dunlop...

Nice ride man, looks sweet. Thanks for taking the time for the sketch, I had a look at my stock one today, and the adjustments will just make the fit that much neater. I'll let you know how it turns out. Cheers Jim

Thanks mate, just the sort of feedback I've been looking for. I only have one stock one to copy and I think I will tighten up the tolerance like you suggest.

Thanks for the offer, your right freight would be a killer. With the 95 and 96 being the only ones compatible, even finding a decent used set would be a struggle. I think I'll just have to get some machined and do what you've done, with a few extras. If you get the chance could you post a photo of...

Does anyone know of an option for the 96 NLA rear axle blocks. I can't seem to find any aftermarket options and am thinking I might need to have a set machined. Or hunt for a 2nd hand set. Do any other years fit? The parts fiche doesn't seem to think so.
