Last year a typical non race day at the track consisted of me starting with a 3 lap warm up, then break, 4 or 5 laps, break, 5 laps, break,hit some trails, break, 6 laps, break, etc. until I was content to call er a day. I hope it works out. Judging by what the Euros have done in road racing, if history repeats itself, some of the Japanese are going to get shoved out. When I heard all the new makers coming in I wondered if these manufacturers look at the MX market as low hanging fruit, a great promotional tool, and a way to snag the younger market. Wouldn't a single cylinder MXer cost less to make than a Ducati Super Enduro or even a Ducati scrambler, serious question? And Ducati can sell the MX bike for 12K plus?

The tank has a pretty big hole (not all the way through) where the top bolt that holds the radiator shroud on. Yeah just lots of elbow grease - hours and hours of various filing, sanding and scotchbrite etc. Not plated, and I've never bothered re-anodising a swingarm even though that is possible.
