11/7/2022 4:48am I used the clear VHT rattle can used for car headers and it worked pretty good. Instead of scotch brite and WD-40 every time it got any water, it only required a halfass wipe down after washing. A couple of areas did require more attention since the coating would wear quicker: fat part of expansion chamber where boot rubbed and right behind front wheel.

11/6/2022 6:35pm Honestly I have never tried or looked into it. If it was me, I’d research the above links or if you have Facebook check out the KX Guru page. I believe a lot of the Kxriders members joined there and still have some good knowledge floating around. Mike from Oem is a true diehard along with some others that have...

11/2/2022 5:07pm Don’t know if you have ever been on kxriders or Sandblasters https://oem-cycle.com/forum/index.php Some good info there even though most of the people went over to Facebook instead of sticking to the forum. At one time there was some good stuff, but then it went a bit sideways.

10/27/2022 5:37pm From my perspective when Gorr did one of my cylinders the pipe that matched the porting best was the FMF’s. I didn’t care for his head mod as it seemed to mellow out the pure grunt that everything else focused on.

9/29/2022 1:52pm Nice setup. 1/8 mi. ??? Do you mind saying what size that is? I have a buddy with a little 4mil in a bike chassis and that thing hauls. Lol. I’ve seen some bigger built ones too, but most people don’t know what a handful a little 421 can be. They can hurt a lot of feelings.

9/28/2022 10:07am Yeah it’s a drag bike, most guys that go lectron use a 40 or bigger. Mines setup for gas. Those banshees are bad, most people don’t understand how much power you can get outta the aftermarket cylinders. I’ve seen some bad 250r’s too.

9/27/2022 12:59pm Boy that’s going to look amazing compared to the condition you got it. Just some observation, the forks in the first post are pre-‘89. And the cylinder and head look to be post - ‘89. Hope this helps to clarify what you have going on there.

9/27/2022 12:28pm The reason for me going with the 44 is because I do a lot of full throttle. It’s not setup for mx. Could it be used for it? Yeah, given the rider and track conditions. I won’t start a conversation on what parts are needed for these things to work well as everyone has there opinions, lol. But they aren’t...

9/27/2022 12:21pm Yeah the stock carb does quite well and the only time I found it to be finicky is when the jet block gasket needed replaced. I have also run mine a little leaner than most recommend with the stock needle. Also have a brand new 38 air striker in the box that I’d like to play with but never bought...

9/27/2022 10:04am I don’t have any insight on the billetron but I do run a lectron. It’s the big 44mm with a 6-2xl rod and adjustable powerjet. I will say that this is a hot setup for that bike. If you are looking for a smooth easy riding bike, I’d stick to the Keihin because this thing hits hard and pulls well...
