8/30/2024 6:06am If I remember correctly, (not sure) The rod going down the shaft is for dampening adjustment. Should come out and be movable when the shock is apart. The compression adjuster should come off, If it has a plasic cap, be very carefull, if it breaks you will never find another one. There are several shops that do vintage YZ shocks...

8/15/2024 6:05pm What do you use in your ultrasonic? I have used simple green many times in mine (on vintage parts) and yes I have pulled the zink off some but I have not found anything else that works. Any Ultrasonic cleaner suggestions (that are not too expensive of course) would be aappreciated.
