The best Hard Enduro rider in North America is Trystan Hart from BC. Cory Graffunder, Bobby Prachnau, Guy Perrett, the most recent top guys from BC for off-road, but the list get's pretty big the further back you go.

Most underappreciated all time great ever. You’d go out there and win 4 races in a row and only gain 12 points on him. Then one bad race and he gains 10 on you to essentially negate it all. I think he’s remembered a lot differently if his chain doesn’t derail in 2011 SX and he doesn’t run out of gas with two laps left in 2011 MX.

Hey man, There are a bunch of good shops in the UK stocking gear. If you want to try FXR and you ride sand, Checkout their Clutch Pro Line, Podium, or Contender. Those ones have the thickest rear panel and at mid-range price points, with the performance of full 4-way stretch. I put 40 hours on a set of clutch...

Anyone have any historical data on what tracks are charging for daily rates + entry fees? Where i'm at, the cost per rider has gone from around $20 -> $30 over 20 years. Compared with skiing, golf, etc, wonder what Moto has raised prices vs those sports. I just checked Gov of Canada inflation calculator and $20 in 2002 =...

Hey Twigster, We went nuts on the bigger sizes in 23 and scaled it back for 24/25. With the amount of models/colours we offer, it's tough to do them all in that size range, and we'll do our best to get some more colour for 26. If you reach out to your local FXR dealer in the UK, there is...

While I typically agree with Paul's takes on things, I thought he was a bit harsh in Ty's situation. You have a guy that rode the bike 1 time before the first round of the season, coming off riding a 450 for over a year and he wins an overall and has two moto wins through 6 rounds. How many other riders on the top teams could do the same? Not very many.

As a local guy on an 11 model, I thought the hype around RV getting the 12 frame was just that…until I rode someone’s 12 back to back with my 11. Night and day difference.

GPS Added a reply to FXR REVO / HELIUM VS FOX FLEXAIR (2024)

I"m 6'0, 200 lbs. Been wearing Large/34 for over 15 years (Thor, Fox, One, FXR). Lean/bigger frame (closer to a hockey player than Motocrosser). In FXR I wear Large/34 in all models and wear an EVS F1 Roost Deflector underneath. If you have a bigger chest or wear a larger chest protector, you'd be good to go up a size...

If they sold this gear cheap and did not copy the design and logos I would have no problem with it. What they are doing is stealing the branding to leverage the marketing they spent no money on. This should be self evident to most without having to get into the details of how much work and associated cost goes into bringing a product to market.

The thing is, that they would not be marking it up 10 or 20 times to be made in the US. The cost of producing the item would rise and they may make the same or less profit. Labor in the US costs a lot more. A quick google search showed that factory workers in China can make as little as $3.60 per hour. While the lowest US # 's I saw was $16.00 per hour. That is the problem, You can often have something made in China and shipped for much less than making the same thing in the...

Renthal Dual compound Kevlar. If you have big hands, they fit well, and they feel good on the bars. For years, my Dad put my grips on dry with wire. They would always eventually move. When I started doing them myself, I use the small renthal glue that's like super glue and wire. Never move. It's been a while since...

Riding off-road with studded tires (grip studs or Mitas studded tires, not ice racing screws) is one of the funnest things you can do on a dirtbike. I was skeptical when I first heard about it, but you have almost as good of traction as dirt. Rocks you have zero traction, logs you have better traction. Coldest I would ride...

GPS Added a reply to Amateur racing - more classes or less?

3/3/2016 6:58pm
One of the current problems with motocross is entry fee cost and creating too many classes. I started racing in 2002, and entry fees are still the same in Canada. My Dad started racing in the late 70's and entry fees were the same then. In order for promoters and clubs to generate enough revenue, they created more classes. With increased...
