Although the boost bottle was actually useful on certain engines that had inadequate crankcase volume affecting primary compression, and lots of early Yamahas had that problem. Damn I sound like an asshole, sorry.

By the way I was channel surfing the other night and they had a snocross event on and these guys were really going at it and by the sound of the skis they sounded like two strokes but I don't know anything about that sport and was not sure...
