Here is my take on this. Yesterday was my first day I felt normal. My kids teacher questioned him if he was high because of his glossy red eyes. I am a union hvac guy and from what I’ve seen there was a ton of duct supplying the air and very little exhaust duct but that also can be hidden. Between the dust, diesel fuel, race fuel, fireworks and a roof just barley open it just sits up high with no where to escape. We sat In the 400s so im sure we were sucking it in all night. When you...

Okay, I got an official diagnosis: BILATERAL ACUTE CHEMICAL CONJUNCTIVITIS with SUBCONJUNCTIVAL HEMORRHAGE in both eyes. My niece had the same diagnosis from a completely different doctor than I and in a completely different state.

I said the same thing when I watched it on Peacock, I get keeping the almost closed during the since this always a dry and slippery track and their trying to keep moisture in the track, but soon as the sun went down they should have opened it all the way

We were club level section 201, row 1, seats 1-2. I just rewatched parts of the racing on peacock and wow, the smoke and haze that lingers in the stadium is considerable. That’s not pollen or dust.

This wasn’t allergies. My wife and I have gone to every SX held in Glendale. I work out in the desert everyday. Wife has really bad seasonal allergies but was 100% fine before the night show. We both are still very ill from whatever the problem was. The roof should have been opened more. Someone at Feld or State Farm stadium dropped the ball. Even back at the hotel that night and yesterday morning, EVERYONE was looking terrible and complaining of these symptoms.

As funny as that is there's some truth to that. Is there one person on here that thinks the Chinese are concerned what goes into their fireworks? And yes the haze initially started when they shot off all the FIREWORKS! Combine that with the TOXIC fumes from RACE FUEL and you have a bad combo. It was just a big cloud of SMOKE that spread and they kept the freaking retractable roof CLOSED! What kind of idiots are running the show when they have a million dollar roof that opens and they shoot off fireworks and keep it closed? Well...

I’ve been living in the queen creek area for almost 2 years. I do get allergies at times and this by no means was an allergy attack. I’m still super tired, glossy and bloodshot eyes. It’s def still kicking my ass today.

Wife and I were traveling through so we decided to go. It got us pretty good. She started feeling sick first and I didn't put two and two together until the next morning as we both felt awful and passed out right away. Both of still feel like crap today and our eyes are still fried here 24 hours later.

So let me get this right. Never before has there been people having allergic reactions at SX race held indoors in Az except the one year the race was held during the worst time of the year for pollen and of the 55,000 + attendees a small percentage had allergic reactions because they didn't vent the stadium correctly? So did the guy in charge of turning on the vents forget? Or maybe the dude who was supposed to throw the switch to open the top went home early? All I am saying is that when you take high concentrations of...

I posted this on the race thread and a couple other posters are experiencing similar symptoms; but is anyone else’s eyes screwed up right now? Since the end of the night, my eyes have been irritated beyond belief and my nose has been running non stop. This is my first experience in a stadium like State Farm and wondering if anyone else has had similar situations and what they did to help relieve the symptoms.
