2/18/2024 11:13pm Is the Twin Air kit worth the $300? Aside from changing the way it mounts, is there any other benefit? I know that it omits the backfire screen, but that can be done for free as far as I can tell. I'm asking because I'm looking at going that route.

12/22/2023 7:54am This is what I am considering as far as oxygenated fuel goes. It’s readily available in pails here. I may try it. I’m considering remapping for the non ethanol fuel, which is Sunoco 260GTX, but it’s expensive at $300.

You need to remap for non-oxygenated fuel or it is going to run rich. Oxygenated fuel adds power too so you are going to lose some snap no matter what. I have not had issues with ethanol in fuel injected engines. I had a 2023 FC250 that ran better on pump fuel than non ethanol fuel. It isn't that hard to get the fuel out of the system at the end of the season if you are worried about it. I won't run it in a carb because carbs don't like ethanol or the water that can come with it...

12/21/2023 8:20pm Assuming you have a modern 4 stroke, did you have to remap for the ethanol free fuel? According to Sunoco, their pump gas version of race fuel calls for 14.1 stoich. Their non ethanol fuel i currently use calls for 14.6 stoich. That means my new bike is running a bit richer. That and has a bit of soot around...
