Currently working with Hall of Fame legend STEVE WISE on his biography, "Run For The Prize: The Steve Wise Story." Also working on "Poet Warrior" a documentary about the late Raul "Robere" Maldonado, a noted poet and writer from the NYC/NJ area.

Will turn 51 in March 2012 and am in the best shape of my life. Will start bicycle road racing in Spring. But motocross is where it all started and MX is always in my heart.. They say 50 is the new 30...dunno about that but I see a bunch of old dudes no one told they are old still it rocking out.

Live in Noo Yawk with wife and 2 great kids, better people than I was at that age.

I waited 10 years to get my first bike, I was too poor. My friends let me get laps on their bikes in between. Have since written for Hudson Valley Motocross News, Racer X Illustrated (paper), Cycle News, MX East, MX America, mxlarge.com, motonews.com, mxnewsfeed.com. Working on movie script: "Racers Edge."

Currently ride KTMs, Sette bicycles and drive ///AMG Mercedes now. Woo hoo!!!

If your talking to me brownie, I never said people suck,. I'm 52 yrs old. Ex Road Racer that raced against the like of Dave (ski) Sadowski,Jamie James,Jeff Heino.Dale Quartely just to name a few. Makes mediocre riders look good? Do you take out the fun of riding and bashing peoples skills ? Either you are a good top rider in the pro ranks or on your way in the talent pole, or you just rider for fun ? Yeah a two stroke of the showroom is cheaper but the techonology is 10 years old even do KTM is making some small adjustments here and there. Thanks Roost, :-) They also hook up when the rider doesn't expect it to. The rise in serious injuries are equal ot th rise in 4T use for motocross. The woods and desert guys tried to go 4T and all or most of them went back to 2T. :-)

right on target. It does make a medicore rider look good. That is a FACT. That is why the buy them in the first place.My son races a yz 250 2 stroke. All use to cry about his bike saying not fair. He lets them ride it the go like shit on it. Tkesway more skill to fast on 2 stroke than a 4. Easy writer you nailed it"FACT"

Uhm, I DID. and there would be TRIPLE the bike sales they have now. Corporate greed never helps anyone. 1/4 of the people buy bike cos 4strokes kinda suck. They make mediocre riders look like good riders but blow up on teh amateur level every day adn cost 10 times as much to fix, 300 vs 3000 for a blown motor. Idiots in AMA and bike companies shoudl run for politics, they are equally dumb assses. We should ALL BUY KTMs just to spite the rest of them.

Yep, just looking thru some OG BMX stuff and saw the name Kyle Fleming, he moved over to moto and I remember all three of these kids passed away in the train accident. :-/ There should be some kind of memorial for them.

I still cant believe it, when it was new, the 217 lb KTM 250SX had 49.9 HP at the rear wheel, 56 at the crank. That would be like a 3000 lb Corvette with 11, 421 horsepower. Yeah, and my cycling pals all say, "But you have a motor, how hard can it be?." Yeah, right, try hanging onto that for 20 minutes.

Glad to see our US boyz going over there to show the Euros how SX is done. They did it for us (via DeCoster et al) when we were the new guys to motocross. History is catching up to articles I wrote in MX East a decade ago. :-)
