About Me
Currently working with Hall of Fame legend STEVE WISE on his biography, "Run For The Prize: The Steve Wise Story." Also working on "Poet Warrior" a documentary about the late Raul "Robere" Maldonado, a noted poet and writer from the NYC/NJ area.

Will turn 51 in March 2012 and am in the best shape of my life. Will start bicycle road racing in Spring. But motocross is where it all started and MX is always in my heart.. They say 50 is the new 30...dunno about that but I see a bunch of old dudes no one told they are old still it rocking out.

Live in Noo Yawk with wife and 2 great kids, better people than I was at that age.

I waited 10 years to get my first bike, I was too poor. My friends let me get laps on their bikes in between. Have since written for Hudson Valley Motocross News, Racer X Illustrated (paper), Cycle News, MX East, MX America, mxlarge.com, motonews.com, mxnewsfeed.com. Working on movie script: "Racers Edge."

Currently ride KTMs, Sette bicycles and drive ///AMG Mercedes now. Woo hoo!!!
When God is good to you... PAY IT FORWARD.

Iiiiiii love that guy. I remember when he (Glover) won the 125 championship in 77 he was featured in People magazine. I ran home ot mom and showed her, "See motocross racers are real athletes." It didn't matter, I still wasn't getting a bike from her. A year and a half later though, I was a working lad and got my own bike. Lotsa dads named their kids after him, Hepler, Tickle, Sellards maybe. :-) He was so damn smooth, even on a gnarly 500cc works bike.

Saw these bikes run up Mt St Helen a couple year ago at the national. SCARY is the only word to describe it. Shot a roost past me at 90 mph (the roost) knocked one guy off his feet cos he stood right behind it. The nitro bike in from flew up the mountain and made works 450Fs look line lawn mower engined mini bikes.

I am SUCH a KTM fan, love the bikes, love the riders. Buying a Jap bike for the same price is like paying 55k for a Honda Civic. KTM is more like Mercedes, BMW, Volvo. Now go get yours or ride a friends and see what the fuss is about. I've been a believer since I rode John Dowd's SX250 in 2001, been riding KTM since 2003. http://picasaweb.google.com/ktm882/MyFirstNyackRide#5401900492191123986

Ross is a great guy. Years ago he spent mad time on the phone with me when termination was an option...I'm still here to tell him thanks Brother, heal up and feel better. :-)

I tested for MX East a pair of the first generation RS modes. It was well received and I swore by these braces for many years until I had to get a custom fitted medical brace. Now that I am better and can ride moto again, I will certainly look into getting a pair of the RS8s. Todd from EVS, if you are seeing this email me. ktm882gmail.com MJ

Anyone seen the new movie Freestyle, with the kids Corbin Blue or Cordon Bleu or whatever his name is? I bet a James Stewart movie would get butts in seats in theaters. But it all depends on a stellar script or like SX-The Movie, it will be a big bomb.

Gosh, I am almost into tears right now looking at this stuff. I remember reading about Marty Moates from his days on Ossa to winning the USGP. I miss that era of motocross, I miss when the sport was still young and new, I miss when I was still young and new. It is still bad ass but it just...
