This is one of the reasons why the US passed the OBDII law in the early 1990s. Every manufacturer had their own communications protocol and unique interface/software. Leaving everyone at the mercy of the manufactures/dealers.

You assume (incorrectly) that I know nothing about guns. None of those rifles you showed a photo of, are designed to deal with overheating from high firing rates. Those are true sporting rifles. Again, don't assume things.
