2/7/2015 8:52am The 06 is a great bike! I liked mine, but it sat tall to me IMHO. I've always owned YZ's which to me, sit a little lower. I'm very comfortable on YZ's. Anyhow, the suspension from 03 on was better. The 06 was claimed to be the best rm250 ever built.

2/7/2015 7:32am Are you going to pay 32 bucks for a set of wheel bearings? Didn't think so. I obviously you have to make profit, but overcharging by 10+ dollars is crazy. Happens in my area.

2/7/2015 6:03am In my area there is 4 shops in a 50 mile radius. Problem with getting parts from a local dealer is that they can overcharge for parts and not think twice about it. I always order online unless I need a part ASAP, then I go and buy the item from the shop.

Everytime should ship in the promised time frame, then the other item should ship separately. My 2 cents, because my family owns a business. I'd recommend people to shop from them because of the great prices just not if you need parts fast. 2/3/2015 1:39pm THANK YOU! That's what I was thinking but I didn't think it was true. I just ordered $300 dollars in parts. (Bearings, number plate, grips, and misc.) I'll change the forum topic to "YZ250 build" since that's what this will turn into. It'll be picture heavy, so stay tuned! Thanks for the input so far guys!

2/3/2015 1:10pm General question about yz250 2 strokes. Do they have a broad powerband? My bike seems to hit good down low and mid but flattens up top. The PV is working just fine. Stock reeds, no cracks or chips. PC Platinum 2 with r304 shorty. Running 13/48 or 49 gearing.

1/31/2015 6:11pm Doesn't seem difficult, I'll keep that in mind! I'm looking at a Vertex (or Vortex, whatever it's called) ignition box. Yay or nay? Got the bike down to pieces ATM, getting ready to replaced all suspension bearings and wheel bearings. Also soda blasting some parts

1/31/2015 7:11am I was thinking about taking the SSS fork route on this bike, to be honest. Would I need the triple clamps as well? Also, I've head of people putting a YZ250F shock on this bike, I guess the shock is more plush and is overall better.

1/29/2015 5:52pm I've always ordered from either BTOsports, Motosport or RockymountainATVMC. I've been browsing through OEMcycle's site and they have some great deals and prices but it has me wondering about their customer service and shipping time. I've heard alot of mixed reviews on the site, but none to rely on. Any opinions?! Help!

1/25/2015 10:27am What brand of clamps? I've heard good things about them. I might invest in a Hinson basket to start, then eventually get a full Hinson.
