6/17/2023 9:06am I've had a few pairs of these boots over the last couple years. I agree, very comfortable, no pinch spots and have a roomy toe box. The flex lock issue was a 1st production run pro lem that was fixed and didn't happen on my next few pairs. And the 4.5 is basically the same boot minus the flex lock...

6/29/2022 7:26pm Strange, I'm an 11 and had a few pairs of 4.5's and 5.5's all size 11 no issue. Sidi's I'd always go up to 11 1/2 due to narrow toe box and Gaernes are big, I was a 10

6/28/2022 10:48am Typically you want a stiff sole for support on the pegs and to limit your foot from bending around them on G-outs or landings. Inside sole comfort is easily fixed with a foot bed of your choice.

6/27/2022 8:42pm Having both boots I'd say no. The 12's are a nice boot but comfort of the Leatts is equal or better due to the larger toebox for me. Protection is similar, both using a hinged ankle with limits, but I haven't had the buckle issues on the Leatts like my last 12s. Pricewise is about half so you could start...

9/8/2021 5:03pm Gotta agree. Went from the Sentinel to the 3.5 Leatt which fit snugger and moved with my body better. Helmet integrated with the Leatt without binding. Now I use the Airfit line of soft protectors that use hardening foam which has the same protection rating. This works even better with my helmet and can't really see it under my jersey.

I have some hours on this setup as well and agree with Klinger that they are a really nice brace and my favorite to date. I ride mostly off-road and was originally interested in these because of the low profile design due to not having a floating knee cup which frees up room in the knee of the pant. Noticeably less binding when bending my legs. Also liked the full protection of the impact gel around knee cup/shin area compared to my other braces. Less chance of sticks or sharp rocks finding flesh through the cracks. I came off C-frame...
