I have the same problem with my 2011. I ride trails often and it does fine moving but if we stop for a bit I leave it idling and it gets hot instantly almost. I see pro circuit bikes have a overflow catch tank that recirculates the water back into the radiator. Or I think that's what happens anyways. I...

the 98 back shrouds look 10x better IMO. I had a 2000 and hated the shrouds! they are way to big, almost like they don't fit the bike style.

More progress in the last couple days, after getting everything cleaned it was fine to start the rebuild of the engine. I'd like to thank Brandon (djfmxpro) for building the motor for me! Little progess. This would definitely make a crank lock up. After removing some of the ball holder things i have since re installed the bearing. I think it will last a good while!

More work done tonight. Of course everything goes fine and then it goes south quick! Every bolt came out fine. Get to the swing arm bolt and shes stuck! Try everything, eventually cut it out with a torch. Cylinder is in very nice shape thankfully!!! Here is a few pictures
