Well after selling my 2005 CR125 2 years ago, i decided to get another bike. I found a RM250 on Facebook for sale and jumped on it. It has a bills pipe & silencer, had some suspension work it looks from RG3, tag triple clamp.. It has a few goodies but I bought it locked up.. When i got it home me and DJFMXPRO tore into the power plant! Took a socket and ratchet on the flywheel and she turned over! It sounded horrible although i was kinda happy!! It will be a slow process, as time and money allows. Here are a few pics.

More work done tonight. Of course everything goes fine and then it goes south quick! Every bolt came out fine. Get to the swing arm bolt and shes stuck! Try everything, eventually cut it out with a torch. Cylinder is in very nice shape thankfully!!! Here is a few pictures

Hey Brandon!

I don't want to put words into his mouth, but Tim swears by Hot Rods cranks, uses them extensively. He's done about a million rebuilds.

Little progess.

This would definitely make a crank lock up. After removing some of the ball holder things i have since re installed the bearing. I think it will last a good while!

More progress in the last couple days, after getting everything cleaned it was fine to start the rebuild of the engine. I'd like to thank Brandon (djfmxpro) for building the motor for me! Here's a couple pics. I still am in search of a good stator and flywheel for one.


Anyone guess what "lube" we used?

Bought this trick little power valve cover to give it a little more "flavor"..
