The CTIs are expensive to service the hinges and buy parts. I prefer the slim and snug, yet open feel of the POD over the Modius. The POD can be serviced at home and are not too expensive. POD also have the cheaper series of braces that are the BEST value. Knee braces are so worth taking the time to fit to your leg and using them every ride.

The new 2.0 POD Braces are incredibly lightweight and comfortable. I wear the K8 2.0's. I tried the Mobius though they were too heavy and don't breath. Any of the new moto pants, which are a more performance cut, catch on the external ridges of the brace, plus there's too much bulk behind your knee with the big rubber 'X'...

That is the original, 1st version of the POD Active brace. It launched in 2007 and was distributed by Fox Racing globally. In 2010 the K700 Carbon brace was launched, replacing the original brace. This was followed by the K8 Carbon brace in 2014 and then POD launched the new Unbreakable K8 2.0 in October/November last year (2018). So they've...

Great additional info Eddie. Note that there are numerous HCPCS Alpha Numeric Codes that cover 'Medical' knee braces (L1810-1860). The POD K-Series (K1 Youth, K4 & K8) are all the ONLY medically certified braces in Moto and coded L1845/1842, so riders can quote that specific code to their insurance provider, per your recommendation above.
