Not exactly a complete bike build as I started with a very low hour bike to begin with. The bike I purchased was a 2013 WR450F. It had maybe 15-20 hrs on it when I purchased it. I had an idea to make it look like a 1995 WR250. Let me know what you think ! I added the custom graphics from 180 decals Gold Pro Taper bars Pro wheel gold rims Boyesen Water pump and impeller New FMF power core Dirt tricks chromium sprocket Gold titanium sprocket bolts

Back in Feb of 2017, I reluctantly sold my dirt bike to help fund a new business that I had started. After hustling the business for a year, with the only way to feed my addiction being the KTM ride days, I figured it was time to start thinking about a new bike. Not being the best at managing finances, I had no bike fund or extra money set aside for my addiction. But after listening to Johnny Cash’s 1976 hit “One Piece at a Time”, it gave me an idea. I’ll just build a bike slowly from the ground...

Hey Vital - I've started a new age mini moto brand named MINIWORX Co and we're backing it with a YouTube channel for bike builds, riding videos and a whole lot more. We'll be manufacturing parts - everything made in the USA - focusing on the Kawasaki KLX110, Honda CRF110 and Honda CRF50. Here's episode 1 of the first BBR Perimeter CRF50 build. We'll be doing a lot more of these build videos. I put a lot of time into this - hope you enjoy! https://youtu.be/TAxFUQ8ybfk

So i have already 9,5 hours on the bike and some of the parts that still haven't been installed even though they are in the garage, like Xtrig clamps, Lainer PDS, Pro Taper levers etc. I have wanted to ride the bike close to stock for a while because i have been on a 450 for about 8-9 years before this switch. The head will be done now when the weather gets bad here in Finland. I haven't still decided on what pipe configuration i will get. I have the option of FMF, Akrapovic and Yoshimura. I drilled the air...

Jason Tanner and I were doing some testing and tuning of the KtX500e.. Jason rolls out of the driveway in 2nd gear. Then he blips the throttle just a touch... Then he flogs it with no clutch work out of the hole. He goes through the gears, turns around and comes back only to tell me that the clutch was slipping. 😲 I had just rode it and I weigh about 70 more lb than Jason so I knew the clutch was fine. We walked out to the street and looked,,, Jason left a black strip for 165 yds down...

I decided to go with the Polisport restyle kit, at the time I wanted it but I'm not sure if I made the right decision a month later. Scrub designs in Slovakia did a nice design for me for the graphics. The cuts were incredible and super easy to install. Here's the bike as it stands, waiting on some smaller bits such as OEM case saver, billet throttle tube and some brake pads and discs. I plan on getting the suspension serviced, new piston and rings and get the wheels refurbished. I didn't apply the fork guard...

It's been a long long build. Many hours of engine R&D, polishing, fabrication, starting over, frustration, happiness, and now excitement. We are very close to the build off. I wish I could post pics but all I can show is this small teaser..

This will probably be one of the last picture updates I can do until the article comes out. The photo shoot and test ride will take place in Mid November and likely there will be a 3 month gap until the article comes out Dry But if something comes up and I can update again I will. Working on the graphics installation right now. All I can say is Nic at DeCal Works hit this one out of the park. I can't wait until the big reveal... It's been a long build for me... Probably for most of you too...

Just found the solution for my fork stop problem. Weird that there aren't more of these floating about but it seems like most companies making parts for bikes, like anodized triple clamps, just want to make them for the newest bike. Probably figure those are the only people with money to spend on parts. As you can see no stoppage there. Cognito Moto sells these handle little aluminum stops.

I'm just trying out different parts to make a modern 1988 CR 125r. I'm just not a vintage guy that wants to keep everything the same. I know it would be a lot cheaper to just scrap the bike instead of fixing it up, that's what my friends keep telling me. I guess I would if 2 Strokes weren't so much fun to ride and so enjoyable to listen to. So as I started working down the bike it appears my rear master cylinder is shot. A rear master cylinder rebuild kit is about $19 bucks but I started looking...
