Cleaned inside gas tank, carb, and installed new plug and it fired right up! pipe was shot so found a snake pipe off ebay, Suspension is shot and I wanna bring it up abit for adult fun. 10/29/2013 7:28am Hey thanx Cam. The stock size is 12in as it sits so i think Ill need longer shocks. I got my XL100 swinger in last nite so I'm going to make sure it fits and measure the rear travel that I'll need to even it out with the front. I'm guessing I'll be looking for 14 inches or so. Might...

10/23/2013 12:35pm Ok I found a swinger on ebay from a 79 XL100 with pivot bolt for $59 including shipping. You sure that'll fit ok? I've been looking for a set o Boge shocks, no luck yet. What is the max rear spring height I can go. The CR80 forks fit great, but are super soft so I gotta figure out how...

10/1/2013 1:59pm I just pulled this out of a friends garage. It's been sitting for 6 yrs without a start. He said it ran fine before parking it. I tried kicking it but feels locked up, wondering if the piston is corroded to cylinder from sitting so long. Besides draining changing fluids, is there anything I could maybe pour on top of...

5/9/2013 9:05am Thanx Greg but I'm looking for a permanent fix. Found this, wonder if an 83 will work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-Honda-CR250-exhaust-connector-mid-pipe-83-…

5/8/2013 8:37am Yes, been looking for awhile now. Really hard part to find. You would think FMF would have something or extended a pipe off silencer to connect to Pipe. I'm at the point where I might try a exhaust shop and see if I can find some tubing. silly!

5/8/2013 6:34am Anyone have any idea where I can find a mid pipe to connect my new silencer to my Fatty? OEM part not avail. 18328-KS7-000. Couldn't find on Ebay.

5/6/2013 8:04am Mine is almost done. Still awaiting on a FMF silencer which should be in this week. I'm down to little stuff that needs replaced like a front brake line and of course my gas tank is faded a bit. Oh and this beast is a bitch to kick start w/o boots on. Can't wait to actually test ride!

4/15/2013 6:36pm I finally got my motor back together minus FMF silencer, which is back ordered until the 4/23. Poured in some gas and 5 kicks later it came to life! Sounded so badass and snappy and idled perfect with the stock jetting which I couldn't believe. No water leaks yet but both radiators are dented enough that I couldn't mount the...

4/6/2013 10:57am Yep, did all that yesterday. got it all back together last night and found a ball bearing in my shop rag during clean up. had to go into Honda IPC and found it goes in after the clutch pushrod. Amazeballz!

4/4/2013 3:44pm It looks like the collar bushing goes under the shift arm which is behind clutch basket. Unless you got spider monkey hands, can't see how to get it on? Now I see how it falls off when removing right cover. Hopefully I can find one available.

4/4/2013 1:53pm We'll pulled the right case cover and found a small damaged hat bushing laying in the bottom. I'm assuming it attaches to the shift fork somewhere. So now trying to find a tool to hold clutch so I can spin the 27m nut off, inspect behind and hopefully solve the mystery. Was so close!

4/3/2013 7:47pm I did install the clutch cover but didn't notice anything binding up. guess I'll be pulling eng and removing right cover again. The guy shipped me the bottom end bubble wrapped in a milk crate. Guess I should've tried shifting the gears while I had it on my bench. Not really sure what to look for. Nothing has been easy...

4/3/2013 6:45pm Shifter shaft actually moves a lil bit up and down, just won't click thru gears, but it's stuck in gear.

4/3/2013 6:12pm Wtf? Poured in the oil and installed the gear shifter and noticed shifter won't move. Tried hooking up chain and moving bike back and forth to get it to click into neutral. No go. I can feel clutch engaging during lever pull. I bought this whole bottom end minus right side case cover and top end. Guy told me just...

4/3/2013 1:36pm Going to add oil and fill up radiators tonight and try and fire it up. What SAE engine oil should I get since I dont have a service manual? I have a qt of Kaw SAE 40 2cycle which will prolly work. Im assuming you add oil until it starts draining out the side hole/plug? I know I need to...

4/1/2013 11:07am Mine is coming together slowly. Next issue is fitting new FMF Powercore silencer on Fatty pipe. When I got the bike it was missing silencer and attach hardware so my question is , do I need to order anything that goes from the pipe to the silencer? like a spacer that goes inbetween?
