I find the outdated (2018 since a refresh !) an amazing feat to be transformed into 2025 standards ..I mean it is mind boggling..Consider this...A stock of showroom 2025 RMZ 450 weighs a whopping 241 pounds with no fuel in the gas tank and it ''still'' has no electric start battery or starter !...For comparison the 2025 KTM 450 SXF off showroom floor weighs 228 !! With electric start ! ! 13 pounds of actual ''metallic lard'' on the outdated turd from the get go...Also down 7.5 HP at 11,000+ where pros often visit rpm to the KTM,Husqvarna and The...

A friend of mine from Pennsylvania was a factory mechanic back in the day, and when the series was in the east, some of the guys would stay in the area between races. I got invited to go riding with some of them when they were back there, and Gaylon was one of them. I told him I was having trouble with the RH crank seal leaking on my AW250, and he told me that they used a triple-lip seal from a Suzuki on the Wheelsmith bikes. I asked him if he knew the part number and he said no...
