I had ACL total broken in right knee on March and operation on April.... steel I am on recovery, streghting right leg.. and seems that I will ride after 3 month from now. You younger guys with torn acls should have them replaced. You're going to destroy your cartlidge in your knee which will buy you a knee replacement much sooner than expected. I tore mine twenty years ago. Had the replacement done. Back then they did a vertical approach which doesn't work well. I sucked it up for the last twenty yrs and now my knee has alot of arthritis.

Hi all 2 weeks ago I had reconstruction of ACL. with arthroscopic surgery. No the best experience but necessary if you want avoid future surgery of accident. Lucky me, meniscus was in good condition. Now I am on recovery and started looking for a new pair of good knee braces... I am interested for the POD K8 or K4 but...

Yes It is the result of a damaged ACL this is true. My schedule is when the fracture of plateau is ok ( doctor told me for 6 weeks that need) I schedule to make the operation for meniscus.This is a very easy and not need big period to be idle. I had a crash 2 weeks ago. MRI shown ACL cut, Tear of meniscus and tribial plataue fracture. Good news,I walk and from the first time without pain of instability of knee (of course due to the damages I dont try ti run or jumb etc) I will try to avoid surgery (maybe I do for meniscus only) on ACL...
