It's a weight added to the rear swingarm. Force = Mass * Acceleration When you increase the mass and the force input to the rear wheel (hitting a whoop) stays the same, the acceleration is decreased. I’ve parted out a few bikes before. More times than not, you end up getting more than you would if you would sell it whole. The thing with it is it’s a PITA to ship all the parts and it could take a while to get what you want for each part. GLWS

I'm sure it's geometry (diameter of fat section, length of fat section, angles of cone shapes, etc) but I was hoping someone had more concrete info. As soon as you port an engine, that stuff sort of goes out the window anyway.
