It would depend on how your forks are set up, usually you use the valves to bleed the air out of the forks not use put air in them.

i just wasnt sure because i thought air forks had gone away by 84 and these are valves right on top of the tubes. they look exactly like a tire valve.

For the style of fork your referencing increasing the fork pressure beyond atmospheric would most likely generate negative performance results.

As noted above they are essentially bleeders and should be used as so.

Air (roughly 80% nitrogen, which is also used in the rear shock...well 100% nitrogen) compounds quickly as it heats up and expands. As the fork compresses this effect is further multiplied making the forks too progressive.

Also being the forks are damper rod style this is not a good thing but that is totally something else to elaborate on.

I am not usually a fan of Race Tech products but their Emulators are a quality product that really help those style forks.

Actually that is not correct. Air (roughly 80% nitrogen) and pure nitrogen posse very similar expansion rates when temperature increases.

Pure nitrogen lacks moisture, hence one of the main reasons it is used in shocks.

In a bind you can successfully still use compressed in in a shock. I just wouldn't do it.

Good try and work on your spelling.
