Used a lot of seals over the years and none have been better than the SKF seals MX-Tech is now selling. It's shocking how much they reduce stiction.

Wipe your forks off really good after every ride, all your seals will start to last longer

Hey chili, coming to Staples or Brookston this year?

Those seals you use, do they last as long as OEM? I have tried others but always go back to OEM cause they last.

Thanks Chili....

Yes, that is correct. MX-Tech is now the sole importer for SKF Seals. You will get double the seal life and get a performance gain by reducing stiction. They are awesome. You will see more press on SKF seals soon. Go to MX-tech.com to contact our West Coast office or our Midwest office.

OEM or SKF are the only ones ill install in a customers bike. I had a few people bring me msr or moose seals to install and they usually come back a few weeks later leaking.

"It's shocking how much they reduce stiction" Laughing luv a bad pun

Some seals have 2 lips and some have one which reduces the drag alot, and wiping ability. Choose your poisen.

I've always packed grease under the dust wipers which collects a bit more dirt and dust and keeps the seals greased a little I suppose. I've done this to hundreds of forks through the years and the only problem coming from using Castrol rubber grease with some sort of "seal swell" which swelled the dust seals open and allowed all of the dirt in and the forks leaked within a week or 2. So be carefull on which grease you use. Every month or 2, or after a mud race, pop the dust seals out and wash out the grease and replace with new. I had my original Yamaha seals in for over 2 years doing this.
Be aware though if you have a nick in the chrome from rocks, usually in the back of the leg, the seal will be nicked also and replacement is required.
