Please dont tell me it will be as much as the new Tiger 12 Masters. Most expensive game out at $70! Dizzy
this game is only $40, but by the time you get done with all the DLC im gonna guess you wished it was $70

You can free roam all the tracks in the online lobby. Host a private session at any time to practice a track in Free Ride mode.

i know you guys are being quiet about details but please tell me one thing.

did you guys throw away the broken online mode from reflex and start over?

even untamed had stronger online play and made more sense.

reflex's online was pathetic. can't pick tracks, games won't load, get tossed into an empty room, can't join rooms you want, etc.

i spend hardly any time on single player, so online is huge for me. please tell me you guys did A LOT of work to the online mode.
They addressed that in another video. Sounds like they fixed all of that.

i want more! i wish we could get a video of a full lap on each track at the compound.
i have a feeling ill do the career mode once. and then when the supercross tracks come out, ill never touch the national tracks. unless of course they come out with replica courses.

When will Alive be available in the UK, is it the same date as in the US, or am i just being dumb?

Not sure about the resolutions this game plays in... but the graphics on the 360 version are just better, plain and simple. And quite a bit actually. Better draw distance, details, lack of pop-ins, colors, the whole nine yards. (I have both systems, don't hate on me fanboys)

Another big factor is the controllers. IMO the 360 has a better controller all-around, and especially for any sort of racing game. The throttle and brake triggers have greater travel for more precise control. Also, the ergonomics of the 360 controller positions your thumb in an upward resting position (your thumb is almost pointing directly up)... this means equal left and right motions on the x-axis of the stick, much more natural IMO. On the PS3 controller your thumb sits at a 45 degree angle, making precise movements in x-axis (and y-axis) input somewhat more awkward. Of course people do get used to the PS3 controller layout and some may even prefer it... but these are just my observations.

two questions:

1. Is there going to be a playable demo released to the public via xbox live before the release date?

2. Will you be able to free ride the rest of the tracks in the same way you're free riding james house? So many times in reflex I wanted to just turn around and practice single sections but it wont let you cause there is no practice or free ride for the tracks so hopefully you've addressed this, at leas it's possible at stewarts house
yea in untamed you could free-ride the tracks and practice any section you wanted.

Both ps3 and 360 do 720p 1080i and 1080p if the game supports it. 1080p is only through hdmi.

Also xbox is so much better. People actually talk and the whole system is more user friendly.

I'm just scared of the hundreds of dollars worth of DLC we are going to have to pay for to get real bikes and good supercross tracks.....

It look's tons better there, though I wish they'd do a video with a normal game play angle i.e directly following behind.

Need a blu-ray and all my moto friends have PS3, plus i'm biased towards PS.

Xbox isn't even considered.

don't want to pay for online gaming as well.

That looks awesome.
Imagine if we could ride all the exact national tracks like in some other games. Formula 1 or Gran Turismo games are cool because you just ride all the famous tracks. DC should work the license with MX vs ATV. Featuring all the riders with their sponsors, bikes etc..

Alive PS3 and 360 are running side by side at the rest of the SX's. Go take a look at the game, I bet money if you don't look at the controller you won't notice a difference. They both look awesome.

As far as the online, we have our own servers, our own code, and have done a ton of work to get around people's strict NAT connections that caused so many headaches on Reflex.

ive played reflex on both versions, and couldnt tell a difference. hook your ps3 up with hdmi, and it looks the same. i think what it comes down to is controller preference. and for me, i cant get use to a 360 controller. been playing ps for too long i guess.

For the PS3 guys, a lot of work went in to making sure the PS3 matched the 360 and vice versa, both visually and gameplay. For Reflex the PS3 seemed to be hyper sensitive when you went in the air which was a bummer but that's been addressed. Visually they finally look stellar and great side by side. The draw in distance that you would pick up on for the PS3 no longer exists as well. It will finally come down to controller preference. It was a pain but I think we really made it happen.

I didn't notice a difference in graphics between the PS3 and 360 at the Alive booth in Dallas. A couple of the kids I took played the 360 version and were "super pumped." It looked good to me, and seemed like the tires actually grip. Oh, and it looked like whips are harder to do and you don't do a barrel roll anymore, which was irritating to me on reflex.
