What would he have to do? Take a mugshot photo, and then film a 2 minute skit walking out of a police station? Everything else could have been done without him.

Let's not forget that he does have some "cough" "cough" acting experience. His agent could have handled everything else.

Who was filing that anyway? How and why would there be a camera crew there? It's not like it was Tom Brady or something coming out of jail and I doubt the media and paparazzi follow him everywhere he goes..........so how did a camera crew catch wind of him coming out of jail?

GuyB is just screwing with you all and it's pretty funny!

If it was a prank, it would have just came from a few moto sources, not news media outlets across the states. In addition, why would James pull a prank like that could tarnish his reputation? A better April Fools prank would be something along the lines of telling everyone he was going to race a YZ125 at select rounds of the AMA Motocross Series.

Also, ask yourself why JSE issued an "apology letter"?

Disinformation is almost as good as a whitewash.

Maybe someone with the same name "James Stewart" really was arrested for this in FL and either someone at Racer X or Stewarts camp found out about it and decided to have some fun with it since it's right around April Fools Day. That would explain why there is an arrest and paperwork with the name James Stewart on file.

I think it's legit, but imagine if it just was a prank, everyone would be talking about it focused on him and he would get in his competitiors heads, they would think, man he got locked up, facing felony charges, and this has got to beat him up mentally, he's not going to have his head in the race, but in reality he is good to go and been training all week and lauging at everyone's comments. hmmm. Still think it's legit so far though.

That would explain why there is an arrest and paperwork with the name James Stewart on file.
It was interesting how they messed up the name so much, I heard Mark Stewart, James Mark Stewart, James Mack Steward. So who knows.
