This kis has been riding impressive. He got gapped at Toronto in the heat race but he still rode pretty damn good. I haven't heard of the kid.

He's from Cairo. He was one of Suzuki's top amateur riders before turning pro this year and signing with DNT/Star Racing Yamaha. He's had some bad luck in SX but his speed is there for sure.

He's from Minnesota, and moved to GA.
Raced am stuff around here til about 2005 or so, but did a lot of the big races back then as well.
Nice kid, good family, and goes plenty fast..

Gannon is from Minnesota, and moved to Cairo in 2005 or so. Great kid. I still have his 2006 Mini O's Supermini built by JM Racing. I got the bike right after the 06 Mini O's for my son. Gannon pulled two holeshots on the bike at the Mini O's in 2006 on it. It's been sitting in the garage for about two years now, I just can't bring myself to sell it. I will get it out and run it some, it's very fast and fun as hell to ride!

Gannon has always been right there with the big names like Baggett, Trettle, Tomac. As an amateur I've watched Gannon beat all of them. He is doing very well for his first year in SX. Outdoors, he'll really suprise a lot of people!

As was said, he's a good kid, with great parents. As we say here in the south..."He's good people".

When I saw the press release announcing the Star Racing team this year I assumed he was a French import. I don't pay much attention to the amateur ranks anymore.

He and Trettle swapped wins in the two A classes they were in last year at LL.

Gannon is a good kid for sure, hope he has a long career in the sport.

He impressed me more than anyone out of the "other guys" at Indy. Hope his results continue to improve so he can get more exposure.
