Exactly! Like it or not, people tend to judge people in groups. This is why I hate to see another officer screw up, because a lot of people will judge us all as a group. Same thing here. This will be a serious black eye for our sport.

Yes, exactly this.
Right, because top athletes in other sports have never F'ed up! LMAO

He probably should have just went with rape, switched teams, and then changed his number if he wanted to get away with something.

Yes, because reputable news sources will sacrifice their journalistic integrity over an April Fool's joke.

I wonder if he can get a trial by Friday though because I doubt they will let him leave the state. No Dallas?... that may be least of his worries at this point.

There is nothing to not fall for, its on many news sites, people have seen it ON THE NEWS.

At first i took it for just another "heard it from a good source" story that never pans out, well this one did.

Felony? Really? If so, what will this mean for sponsors, future 4-wheel career, etc. .... Felony?
I hope for James' sake, this is not as bad as it sounds.

The whole deal sucks.. But I just hope it's not a Felony because that means..NO TORONTO next year or...ever. Hopefully it will all pass with him getting a slap on the wrist. It sounds stupid, but who knows what actually happened.
Don't worry Feld would just cancel the Toronto round. Similar to how the AMA handled the RC gas penalty.

You can't do anything to hurt the biggest star of the show.

Racer X did one on Everts doing the outdoors a couple years back, a few days before the first.

I know this is true now though.

Even though I have never been a huge James fan it hurts to see him like that. He screwed up and he needs to live with that, but he is not a bad dude, immature and sometimes stupid, but not a bad guy.

His actions were like those of a high school kid. That is something a 16 year old does, not a 25 year old. I guess that kind of horseplay is something he missed growing up.

This is just sad for our sport.

Those of you thinking hey that's cool, at least he's having fun need to get smart. This should be the time when he's most focused on trying to get back into the lead and he's doing this?? Pathetic. Oh well, maybe he just wanted an excuse for why he isn't going to win anyway.
