... is either going to have to change from that number 51 or stop looking so much like Villopoto in pictures. I keep having to tell myself, "No, that was LAST year..."

I heard PC Kawi bought a whole bunch of 5's and 1's and figured that would be the best way to use them up.

So you guy's want him to change his number because he looks to much like Villopoto last year? That is pathetic.

I'm kidding, man. Lighten up. I just keep seeing pictures of Stroupe and he looks so much like Villopoto it's scary. Same posture on the bike. And having the same number...well, you didn't get it the first time, so...

I hate riders who get attached to their stupid amature (or whatever) number... Race what you earned, win a title, then get a perm number. 981 is not a number for a top level rider, is should be reserved for Billy Bumfuck from Idaho.

Everyone said the "team look" was going to be so great for moto, but I think it really, really boring when the riders look identical. It's not a team sport except when it comes to selling products.
I miss Hannah covered with a million stickers or RJ showing off his new off the wall gear idea.

259 seemed to work better than the number 7.

I don't know, he ran 259 in '05 and that was the year from hell for him. But I don't think the number was the problem - it probably had more to do with chasing the fastest motocross rider on the face of the earth and not having as much horsepower to start with.

If I was able to pick my pro number there isn't a chance in hell I would changed it. I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to run the number they raced with their whole life.
