I've been to MTF, GPF, Club MX, and Weinert's. They all have their pros and cons but I like Club MX the most. The tracks are the best I've seen from the 4 I've been to and they seem to have a solid program.

I was at weirnets earlier this march. It's pretty good just so happened the days we went they closed Sunday because of atl supercross. Then the next day it was like 30 mph winds amd then absolutely poured that night. It was our last stop on our trip so we just headed home the next morning.. its pretty sick but my one complaint they were shaping a couple lips the morning we rode and they kinda were like thrown together sloppy. Weird kickers in them but hey it was only on 2 jumps.. the kid I was with said gpf was the shit but super strict.. we were just down there riding and partying alittle at night. We also went to hard rock, bithlo, and Pax track. I'd say bithlo and Pax were my favorite. The dirt at Pax is unbelievable. Decotis was down there ridimg to.

i stayed at mtf for one of their week camps and it was great. most of the day is track time, then afternoons are gym. at night they have different classes on things, and if your there for the camp you get 3 meals a day. while we were there we got to watch davalos, justin brayton, and steven clarke ride supercross. barcia was in cali getting ready for his debut. all there instructors are really cool and helpful.

Bubbs and MTF are the only ones that I've seen extensive video of, but Andrew Short's practice track looks awesome.

Hahaha, same here.

All I had was an empty piece of flat dusty land. If I wanted to practice whoops, I had to spend a whole day out there digging some out. Jumps? It would take me a whole weekend to build just one decent double.

Funny thing is I was improving faster than those who practiced at the track because I practiced turns and transitions so much, and my "track" got rougher than the race track would ever get. When I got to the track I could just focus on figuring out the jumps and everything else was easy. Wouldn't work as well now with so many jumps and every kid scrubbing like bubba.

Now I'm completely spoiled and complain if there's dust anywhere on the track. I would love to go check out one of those facilities. Whats the closest one to Texas? Didn't Coop or Reynard have one at some point?

i hear ya - back in the 70s-80s the tracks never ever even had open riding to practice on like they do today - the only practice we ever got was the 20 minutes b4 the race and on the weekdays blasting through the corn feilds down the road - maaaaaaan i would of been soooo goood if i had practice!!!!!!

We did a Jimmy Weinert riding school way back in '82 at Indian Dunes, he is such a riot, but he was hitting on my mom!

I really liked Pax.

The Jammer invited me over to ride. He said there was a track in the back that would be perfect for an old fat guy like me......wonder what he meant by that? I am going to take a couple days off and go check out the facility.

I went to Club MX on their opening day and the 2 tracks they had open were nice but sand sand and a little more sand.

Levi had been at MTF for 3 years until last year... just FYI. Nico was never there tho.

add Austin Stroupe, Kyle Regal, Bryan Johnson, and Steven Clarke to that list

Pax was our Fav track down south. If you put on a brand new rear tire, and spend the day on pax, you wouldnt know the tire was even used at the end of the day.
