This whole episode is such nonsense. I just finished listening to ML and Lewis's podcast on the situation and Lewis's forced delivery of chastising Kawasaki was a hard listen, almost as difficult to listen to as him not having a clue what Chase is doing. I don't know where these "journalists" should go or do with privileged information, but obviously lying to the public isn't good. I am not saying Lewis knows what Chase will do, or that Chase even knows, but Lewis is the first person to tell you his credibility comes from his friendships within the paddock and not from experience as a racer, so where is the information derived from these relationships? Perhaps Lewis should keep his information private, obviously, but condemning multi-billion-dollar international company's operations and kneeling at the altar of a 28-year-old who's only major contribution to the world is riding a motorcycle fast so obviously biased seems short sighted, in the end Chase will be remembered like Hunta remembered RJ.

Lewis originates from my neck of the UK, so automatically I’m a fan, and I really like his interview technique, I don’t care what you say, ‘British’ dialect does come across a little different to American.

So I do like Lewis a lot, That is until he interviews Chase.

When he interviews Chase he goes all gushy & it feels super awkward to listen to.

I have very little to critique about Lewis, except his obvious bias and the whole "I know something you don't know" shit.

Yeah Lewis is great, and i think his article on Kawasaki was spot on and he does a lot of really good things. For me, he is the best moto journalist at the moment. He has the largest spectrum of knowledge (nobody in America comes close to his knowledge regarding GPs and global racing) and in most cases he says things as he see them and he isn't in industry companies pockets.

But, the relationship with Chase is a net negative tbh. From a fan POV, we will never get proper unbiased journalism from most likely the top journalist in the sport regarding one of the biggest stars in the sport.

I counsulted a Psychic and asked about Chase Sexton.

They said he's riding a Honda next year.

Not sure which team but he's receiving factory support.

Honda was concerned that Jett's ankle isn't healing well and Hunter is lacking confidence, possibly related to the new bike.

The Lawrences are happy with the addition and Sexton will be training with them.

Chase looking for a one year contract.
This way he will not have any contracts when the Reed/23 team commences before the 2028 season.
Not that contracts have prevented riders to go elsewhere the last couple years.

Who, other than Reed, is talking up this proposed team? I won’t ever count Chad out, but I’m not seeing any traction. Needs a rig and equipment; MX6 has a rig and equipment and is motivated to liquidate. Will Chad pull the trigger…..?

Who needs to talk up the team?

best to just do your business and when your ready to roll it out. Roll it out.

As the great Lil Wayne said real g’s move in silence like lasagna.

…but that is not what Chad is doing. He isn’t quietly putting pieces together. Rather, he’s out and about going on the record talking up a possible partnership with Michael Jordan. How do we know this? Chad straight told us. Same with the need to order semi’s and purchase equipment. MX6 is turnkey—even some personnel…..

I’m not really sure what you getting at.

linking MJ to a potential team is smart marketing towards other potential sponsors.

You don’t know what Reed is or isn’t doing behind the scenes. All he said was he’s exploring an opportunity for a team with MJ.

Remember this proposed team wouldn’t race til 2028 so plenty of time to get the semi hire personnel etc..

Your psychic is wearing a red/purple kit like Sexton was in the latest pics he's rolling out. I predict Honda is accurate.

It is interesting the whole Honda and training with the Lawrences scenario.  Hunter always likes Chases posts and the family especially Dazzy speak very highly of Chase.  If this is true, this is one of the most down to earth badass no ego moves from the Lawrence family.

I honestly think it would benefit Chase.

Unless they are just allowing him to use their place to ride in private with no one else around?

Yah I think it could help all 3 of them.  Jett and Hunter seem to be good at developing bikes so they may be able to help get chases setup where he wants. And if those 3 are training and practicing together, that would elevate them all to higher levels. I really think that its Chases best shot at getting on a bike he's comfortable on and able to win on. He seemed to really love that CRF his last year on it and sounded like he regrated getting off it in some interviews when asked about it.

I was thinking that the red and blue Chase was wearing in those new photos was him throwing people off and he will end up on a Monster Suzuki  a part of Pipes motorsports. A "3rd" team made just for Chase  like they did with Kenny. And they will slide Jason Anderson over to that truck with Chase.

It is nice to see him starting to have some fun and playing around with putting out  little pieces of info here and there. Great way to get some exposer for whoever signs him.  They should do a Scobie do style team reveal. Where ML , Mathis , Gypsy tales dude ,etc.  have Chased tied to a chair and pull a hood off his head and he's wearing an obviously fake hat for the team he's not riding for. And then they pull it off and reveal the real team he's riding for.  Start out on a blacked out stage with a spotlight on Chase, then as the reveal the correct team hat , a giant curtain drops and the semi and race bike are setup behind them and all the lights light everything up.
