How are you supposed to dispose of used air filter cleaner?

I had to dispose of some asbestos once for my daughter. She bought all the right PPE and a specialised (and expensive) disposal sack. We packed it up as instructed, sealing the bag with zippers and special tape and took it to an accredited disposal site in the bed of my truck, which it filled  

At the disposal site a guy rocked up in a forklift, stabbed his forks right through the sealed bag and dragged it off somewhere else.

Old fuel can, fill it with all your used oil, coolant etc.. when it’s full leave it on the back of your Ute. Someone will take it for you.
