Don’t watch the NFL, but I’m all about some College ‘Ball! NCAA Championship game is being played on Saturday in Austin.

Thought about trying to go, but yeah, no.

Crazy prices but college sports are unexplainable Huge right now. Many people don’t care for pro sports anymore.  I walked 2 miles so I didn’t hv to pay for parking . For Badgers vs Notre Dame game at Lambeau field . Just to check out pre game festival activities, it was awesome .  The game was planned for 2020 but c19 cancelled it. It was a home game for ND, which is different.  A lot of iL,In. & Mi. Tags expensive euro suvs & beautiful women. IMG 6009 0.jpeg?VersionId=hlRr7wbJAv7C

I still don't understand how secondary markets isn't just another name for scalping.

I’d of paid $100 to see it, but $1000 for seat 99,999 in 101,000 seat stadium? Nope.

……..but somebody is paying those prices. That stadium will be chock full come Saturday night! Stand up, Sit Down, Rah Rah Rah………the Eyes of Texas are Upon You! 🤠

We attended the State Fair in Dallas the day of the OU/Texas game in 2024.  It was pretty nice during the game because the Fair itself sort of cleared out a bit.  After the game there were plenty of well lubricated folks wanting to taunt and fight, right up until they came to taking a swing.  Then it seemed like most of them just wanted to hug it out....!

One thing the two of us can agree on is that College Football is better than the Professional League...
...one thing we will NEVER agree on is which College Football Program to support...

"Hey Siri, who owns Ohio Stadium?"

I hadn't bet on anything in quite a while but I saw Alabama -9 at Kentucky and couldn't resist the free money.

I don't follow the sport nearly as close anymore (which is why I don't bet on it like I used to) now that all the talk outside of the games is about NIL, transfers, eligibility, TRO's, congress, etc etc etc..... but every weekend there's still several great games that make NFL look as boring as soccer by comparison.

I love the irony of a coach absolutely losing his mind for several minutes then tearing into a player for losing his cool for 2 seconds. Something something about leadership and culture.....

SEC is wild this year. I have no idea if anyone is good or if everyone is just OK? Florida, A&M, and LSU all have an absurd amount of money into coaching buyouts, contracts, roster, etc to be sitting in the bottom half of conference standings.

Truckster, that penalty by #5 Alabama player quite possibly cost them the game.

Absolutely, terrible call, but losing it as the coach doesn't change that. The freak out accomplished nothing. So a few minutes later when one of your players can't resist getting the last shot in when things get heated, it's just hard for me to feel bad for the coach when he's just shown you that getting emotional for no benefit is OK.

All I have to say about that game that was held in that 96-year-old stadium on Saturday the 10th of October, 2026...
...is that it looked like the photo below on the very last fourth quarter snap of football...
...and that is just one of the things that makes College Football so much better than the Professional League..
