Both work better if you put them in your engine.

I run Bel-Ray in everything I have (boat, jetski, quad, bike). I like to support a local NJ company since it seems that no one else gives a crap about us local business owners here in NJ.

I heard a lot of race teams run it, my mechanic told me this. I really didn't believe him until I saw bottles in a privateers pit at steel city.

Thats what I used in 2006 on Mike Browns Suzuki. It's the only oil that would withstand the abuse of a rider like Brown, never shifted and liked to rev constantly, and this was on a 450.

Personally, I have used Bel-Ray products since 1976 and still do today. Last year alone I raced at 28 events and had no engine problems. I also use their chain lube and filter oil. I'm sure other racers would swear by other products also, but for me, it's Bel-Ray!

of course, you don't need oil in your bikes when you are that busy doing other things...

Is it because Reed uses it?

I run Maxima for the Zooks and Yamalube for the 125.

Nothing to do with reed. I bought a Yamaha when reed was on yamaha, and we bought Thor gear when reed was with Thor. I could care less what pro's are using. Stewart is on yamaha, and i have a garage full of Kawasaki's

I just dont believe in the product. I use Maxima 530MX, and when I cant get Maxima I will use Motul 300v.
When we had 2 strokes, we ran Maxima Castor 927.

Everyone has their favorite (as I do). Asking this question on Vital is just asking for a brawl.

Mobile One synthetic racing oil. 5w-50 No friction modifiers. $20-24 for 5 quart jug at Walmart. Nothing better for the price.

Use it in the 06 Yz450 05 RMZ450, CRF450x, YZFR-1 Harley. Never had an issue. Use it in the car as well.
