All of the cooling is hung from the ceiling and circulated around the building for efficiency. Data is cooled from the floor, up through the racks, and out the top of the building - or at least it used to be a short while ago.

I was the chief engineer at Harry & David for 5 years in Medford, just to clarify, and I was a Facilities Manager for Raytheon for a while, so I'm familiar with the concept for both systems.

I don't think they use enough to make too much of a drain unlike big reactors that are usually found built next to a lake. Even those reclaim the condensed water after the steam it makes cools off.

The jobs created to build those engines, then a continuous supply of parts to operate and maintain…the enormous need for natural gas and those downstream jobs..

Damn use a little critical thinking here..You don’t have to love data centers (as you complain about them on a forum which needs data centers.!)..but they are and will create an economic boom for decades..
