..back up and going after that scary wreck. I've never been a big fan at all, but man, that was scary. What an effort by a guy who wants to be champion, no doubt.

Definitely gained some respect from me. He has always been a great rider but seems to struggle when faced with adversity. In the past he would have packed it up.

I'm glad that he didn't crash again. That could have been really bad since it was obvious that he had a concussion. Also glad that his bike stopped where it did and didn't go into the fans.

I was honestly saddened by the whole thing. I'm rooting for RV2 and Reed this season (I have also rooted for James many seasons as well), but you never want to see a rider go down like that. It was obvious he had a concussion too (motor reflexes were definitely off getting back on the bike).

He is so fortunate that wreck didn't end up any worse than it did going head first into the ground like that. Reminded me of his 2006 High Point wreck.

I'm also VERY GLAD he didn't crash again riding with a concussion, especially jumping that huge ass volcano out of the ground.

I am not a fan but #7 is one tough rider and it happened in a spot I didnt think would bite him. Impressive indeed.

No doubt that was a huge display of heart but it also raises the question of whether or not the Asterisk guys could/should stop him? Go to a fight and they have a ringside Doctor who can stop a fight. Doc overreacts and it costs a guy a shot at a championship, under react and who knows what tragedy could be around the corner.

I too was nervous watching him for the remainder of that one. He pulled through nicely. Another drama filled SX race.

hard to say if he was concussed or not .... the struggle to get remounted could have been having the wind knocked out of him...either way, what heart he showed.....great effort.
