Ref. the report of JN Roberts passing, Rick Sieman's book is back in print.
His daughter revived it, here's the website:
It's a great read, he tells fascinating stories of the early days of desert racing in SoCal, and the legal battles.
Agreed, a very great read!
Thanks So Much for that!
I've been meaning get SHs books, but, keep putting it off.
I'll try to get my arse into gear at the end of the week and get the Best Deal Ever package, with what's still available of Hunky's books.
I had some of them, but years ago they got destroyed in a water pipe leak ( in my ceiling!) along with a Huge amount of my book collection. Been slowly getting a lot of them, but, when it gets to having to pay a couple of K for say, early copies of Motocourse, it's an expensive process.
I have the DVDs with all his articles on them. Modern Cycle, Popular Cycling, and Dirt Bike from the 70s and 80s are some great reads.
