Basically, you would have lost five points and probably been second in points if Stewart would have won. Now, all of a sudden, you’re seven more points up...
I think if anybody is the guy to find speed, it’s Chad [Reed]. I think he’s done that and I think we’ve all got to worry about him now. I think he’s in all of our heads and it’s going to make it tougher. So, we’re going to have to be on it and hope for the best. I mean, all of us are. You know, it can go so many ways. It depends so much on the start because we’re all so close.

These guys don't think he's washed up so why should anyone else on this board.

no one thinks he is washed up...people may have spouted at the beginning of the year trying to be keyboard heros, but no one thinks it now...geez!

So far, this whole season, Reed has been at the back racing himself into shape out of the camera eye. He just now entered that camera eye! He took off the Nationals last year cuz of his virus thing....rode a bunch of bikes, rested and tested, now he his ready to kick some butt at Daytona! Remember when he kicked RC's butt and RC crashed in the whoops! Go Reed! Your in their head now, ... and healthy!

he looks as confident as ever and were headed to a track that he is very, very successul in his career at. All us fans want is to see a battle to the finish and with Reed confident it just adds another piece to the puzzle.

At the start of the season I was rooting for Reed & RV, and it was quite easy seems they were both so far apart. Now, not so much haha.. But still, I think its amazing what Reed is doing and hope it works out well for him. Must have amazing self confidence to break through again like this. He needs to give Alessi a sip of what ever he is drinking.

RMZ and Morning_Stiffy have both avoided this topic quite well.... I'm sure there are a few others that said he wouldn't even win a main, but these 2 have stood out the most.
