Becasue they are a farting.

IMO, its how real racing machines are supposed to sound, with or without the "Cig sponsor."

I miss that sweet sound at the nationals. A full gate of 125's off the start then pinned the entire race.

I think I will go to the garage and start mine now.

If bikes sounded like F1 cars we may as well all pack up and find a new sport. Grinning

The noise those things put out is RIDICULOUS, even the traction control (when they had it) around corners made your ears bleed as a spectator.

Thanks for posting that - love that sound!! I can't tell you how many videos I've opened over the years, only to close them in 10 seconds because some God-awful rap music was dubbed over the bikes. There is a seven second video of Stewart on a 125 at a night race that I remember listening to over and over just to hear that bike scream.

Anybody have an open class equivalent they would like to post?

It's good to hear kids riding 125's who don't think they need to be at full throttle when the rear wheel is still 10 feet off the ground.
