Radiator is coming back from Cerakote. Arctic Black dissipates heat, but I had him stay off the core. Plus, the louvers block that from direct view. I’m pretty stoked.

I’m probably spending way too much effort on details the majority of people will never see. But, there’s gonna be that one guy that’s paying attention………

Looking good so far, do you ever have intention to ride it or is it going to be a Living Room Queen? 😁

After all, you're cleaning parts in the dishwasher so all signs point to that and you must be living in a rental. 🫡

I’m going to ride the piss out of it. It’s like not banging your hot girlfriend, to keep her fresh for the next guy………..

There’s some places I want to ride, races I want to race, and I’m going to do that on this bike. Don’t have a drug problem, don’t go to bars, don’t gamble, don’t play golf………currently, I’ve got this.

Great to hear I can't wait to see it after you go through your first mud puddle! 😆

My science experiment dying plastic says, “you’re buying that aluminum tank”.

The louvers turned out good enough to use.

First dunk on the tank was, OMG what have I done! Second one is getting there. I’ve got to remember that it’s 90% not visible.

Yes Sir. Patience is not my friend. I’ve been working on this since yesterday evening. You gotta get the water hot enough to stain, yet cool enough not to distort the plastic.

Try a heat gun or a propane torch?

We used to have to dye nylon for aircraft tooling wear guides. I can't remember what the formulas were, and it wasn't Polyurethane, so I have no idea why I even brought it up.

This is the best I can do. I’m trying to remember that 90% of it is covered by seat and plastics. Anyway, it’s not WHITE! IMG 3620 4IMG 3621 4

I think you can add a flexative to maybe a lacquer type paint that will hang for a while.

Not sure how good it will work around fuel, but it works on fenders and stuff.

It’ll be fine. But don’t be surprised if I still order an alloy tank from Italy.

Bloody Hell, MK, I hope that's a 'spare' dish washer in your workshop, and Not the one that's used in the household.

Death By Death Stares would be the result if I tried that!

When my Large Oven I use for 'Ageing' Things', carked it, I put a Swingarm into the kitchen oven for 24 hours. My life became almost Not Worth Living after that. But, the fact the job put food on the table, spared me - just. But, Never Again was the Verdict!

Get your Mugen Stuff back to where it belongs (please), not here in this Battle Field of Ideas and Imaginings.
