Parking your bike perpendicular to the track is not block passing...and I like Reed. As always, people will see it both ways. But as for the topic of Reed's done... he is... if its Championships we're talking about.

It was a take-out move for sure - Reed wasn't even trying to make the turn. But it's the last lap and he's trying to win the race, so...

It was almost identical to the move Windham put on DV in '03 or whenever it was, except Windham was actually making the turn.

But Reed's trying to win the race, Stewart pinned Reed against the tuffblocks with Regal because he's trying to win the race. So Villo wins the race. I'm sure the riders don't like that kind of stuff, but it's great for the fans.

Lost a lot of respect for Reed tonight. Badass? There was no way he could have made that turn. Badass makes the pass without using your bike as a missle. Come on Chad, that was chickenshit!

Reed is still sour due to the fact that Stewart beat him in the 2009 championship with a handicap of Stewart not completing the Anaheim 1. If Reed is going to beat Stewart he just going to have to take him out.

The 450 having so much power, the bike was already slingshotting and he had no where to go. Reed brought a hole new meaning to "block passing". He would have even had a hard time making the corner at the angle he came in at. Good race but it was a dick move by Reed.

If you are a Stewart band wagon member or R-Racer, then watch the repeats from a few laps earlier when James passes Reed at the same time they are lapping Regal. Paybacks are a bitch, Reed wants to win and Stewart just cannot grasp the concept that someone will actually challenge him.

It was done years ago. St. Louis 2006 (here's an article). Stewart got taken out by Reed at the start. It took Stewart a while to get the bike going while Reed got up quick and quickly passed up to second place. Carmichael was in the lead and Stewart rode ridiculously fast. He started off dead last and caught back up to Reed and stuffed him to take second. Carmichael had a mile lead. Reed may be consistent and can pull a holeshot every now and then but will never be faster than Stewart.

Stewart block passed him the correct way. He didn't make a wall out of his bike.

The difference between Stewarts move on Reed and Reed's on Stewart is that Stewart was actually turning under Reed. Reed didn't even try to turn, he just drove straight to the tuffblocks and stopped. It's the last lap and he just wanted to win the race, but it was a classic take-out move. That's OK, Reed had already blown his race once, Stewart had blown HIS race two or three times and Villo won because he never blew it. Karma has a way of working things out.

Yeah, and not just the end. I was pumped from lap one. The ending was just nuts. On lap 19 I never would have thought RV would win.

Going that wide, Stewart had to have known Reed was going for that move, just had to. Had he just checked up and squared the corner he would have blown past Reed. We see that move damn near every week. Stewart went too wide to not make an attempt. Didn't work out for either one this time. It was a treat to see Reed's smooth style and Stewart's fast aggression going head to head. Congrats to RV and Dungey for being there!

Im one of the slowest MXers to line up at a gate, but I have raced plenty and anyone whos ever dual'ed with another rider knows you dont go wide like that and leave the door wide open and not expect the other guy to not block your ass!
