Will GL run the number 1 plate?

Usually this comes up about this time. Haven't heard if he is in for GH. Does he run it? Do you think if he did it would fire James up when he gets back to go even faster? Either way I think he should run it. No matter how you think he got, he is the champion and has earned the right.

We've seen a few photos and videos of him using it during photo sessions.

I don't think the number 8 has had the same marekting effort that the numbers 4, 7, or 199 has had, so I could see GL running a series number like that much more than some of the "other" guys......

How did he get it? From what I remember he went to all the races and scored the most points, did I miss something?

i hate the red plate. it looks pretty lame.they should only have to run the red plate if they arent running the #1
