Interesting spin on things. Didn't look good for Yamaha with their #1 rider pulling off the track saying "that thing is UNRIDERABLE". Of course people that race know he was talking about it be ready to race at the highest level of the sport, but just came off bad to a lay person. To me the way he was talking about how out of shape he was in the second moto, I would have thought he would have been in the ASTRICS rig getting an IV or puking his guts out, but he seemed pretty darn chillin.

Holy shit.. The ASTRICS rig? When did they get one of those? This sport is going big.

If you NEVER watched it, then you have no idea what it is about and should not supposed to have an opinion about it , right? Why do you care so much?Grinning Whistling

The hatred by some of you for James is truely disturbing. A couple morons on here are actually going to dis a moto show (they've NEVER watched) just because James is in it?

Just watched it... It's painfully obvious that he has no clue as to bike setup.
You'd think somebody that has been on a bike as long as him, would have even a little knowledge.....

And about the trainer and them throwing Aldon under the bus... James COULDN'T ride his motorcycle when Aldon was having him on the bicycle.

Seen a couple of episodes. It's no "Nitro Circus", but certainly not horrible, either. Far more exciting than following me around with a camera.

After watching the Unidilla race I wonder just IF he would have been picked to ride the Des Nations would he have dialed in the bike and his fitness in the WEEKS prior, or would he have told Roger Decoster that his bike set-up was not right and his fitness was sub par??? Seems like he got all BOO BOO faced with the Des Nations deal and took his ball and quit.

As for you Blake, NO surgery yet, still waiting!!! Maybe another month, then 6-8 months rehabing.

What part of not having enough testing and being on a team with no outdoor experience do you not understand? It's not like he came back and jumped on RV's or RD's bike and got wore out.

He'll be there come May and it'll be on. RV and JS at the outdoors will be nuts. RD will be 30 seconds behind them at the finish line.

Maybe if they spent more time on the motorcycle and not on the bicycle in the weeks leading up to Unadilla the set up would have been more prepared.

Did anyone catch at the end where they said 5 races into the 2011 sx season James is in first place? lol
2/25/2011 10:23am
Sure, it's cheesy and scripted, but it does give a glimpse into James' life and what it's like to be a pro motocrosser. Can't really think of any other show that has done that.

I watched a few of season 1, but lost interest in it. Tried giving season 2 a shot, but was the same. I will check the guide though. I did want to see the one when he races Unadilla.

You're pointing right at the problem. No show has ever given " a glimpse into James' life..." so why does the first and only ahve to be "clheesy and scripted"?

I watched one ep of season one and thought it was garbage. Didn't watch anymore. Then I watched one ep of season two, and wasn't surprised that I found it to be garbage too. I've seen enough.

I think James, his family, his team AND the sport deserve better. But who cares what I think? I'm not the target market, or so I've been told...
