RV had some pretty tough words about Canard and "the pass" after the St. Louis SX race, and Canard didn't rush over to set things straight with RV. If Canard can run with Villo outdoors, I'd expect there's going to be some bar-banging. This could be exciting!

No one will come close to RV in the outdoors - except for Hepler.

TC will be lucky to get top fives.

We have heard this before. With TC winning a SX in his rookie season it would be foolish to underestimate him.

The first time I saw TC ride was at the Prequel...he is very, fast outdoors. He was only 15 years old then.

It's going to be good no matter who wins...but seriously, I don't see Jlaw making an effort outdoors, it requires to much weekly input...he'll be out spending his bonus money.

I'd love to see Canard up front with Villo, especially if it turns into a war (short of doing really dumb things).

RV crying like he did is a serious let down. It's like Reed crying when he get's raced.

I love it that they want to be agressive, it makes things interesting. I think Trey will be the bigger man in the situation, but only time will tell.

You can't forget about Austin Stroupe. He was hauling the mail at the end of last year he got a second and a couple of thirds, this year he won a race and finished 3rd overall. And also what about BM123. He too was hauling last year. If you can't tell i'm a big Pro Circuit Fan. But RV will be flying for sure, especially at THE GLEN. I can't wait it should be an epic season.

P.S. Shouldn't Hepler and Metcalfe be getting close to being pointed out of the lites. Does anybody know?

No, both Hepler and Metcalfe were injured for almost all of last year's SX...they won't be pointing out for a long, long time.

I don't think there's such a thing as pointing out in the nationals.

It did sound kinda petty. But, the comments I heard were immediately after the race. I'm not sure whether Villo's changed his opinion since. Maybe people here have heard differently.

Stroupe was faster than TC outdoors last year. I gotta believe we are gonna see some great 4-5 way battles between RV,Stroupe, Canard, Metcalfe,Dungey- the list goes on.

Stroupe also schooled Hepler at the Freestone national- anyone remember that pass he made on the last lap of the first moto?

These new kids are the real deal.

I completely disagree.

TC will be up there along with Grant, RV, Lawrence, Stroupe, Dungey. I think Hepler will be lucky to get top 5's. Not hating on Hepler at all, I just think the young guns were fast last year and have only gotten better.

Hepler's got a glass jaw. The guy's fast, but he's got a track record that's looking like Robby Reynard. It's too bad, 'cause the guy shows a lot of speed. Anyone know his list of injuries?

I wish we could see the Hepler of 06, when he came back for the last several nationals and spanked Villopoto. I'd love for him to finish his career out free of serious injuries in the middle of seasons.
