I never did like hanny he seems like a cocky smart ass, and all the tatoos and long hair makes him look like he belongs in the hood. Now with him taking people out every single week when he dosen't have to gets really old. I hope some one else wins the west coast championship any one but hansen.

Let's put the shoe on the other foot. If this is logical, then what does your profile photo make you look like?

Judging someone from long hair, tats or a profile photo can be deceiving.

Mooch

You saw what you wanted to see.

Your a rider,

Have you ever raced on a very slick surface, and didn't feel like you could make a turn any tighter with out breaking the wheels of the bike loose?

I haven't seen the replay, but I would bet that Josh was already sliding when contact was made.

jmar, there's gonna be different opinions on stuff like this and I respect the fact that you don't get beligerent and start calling out folks as being "old crybabies" or "fucking babies" when they don't agree with your opinion. Even more important, your consistent when it comes to topics like this regardless of who the rider is and furthermore you don't state one opinion on this forum and then an entirely different opinion on another forum as barrington did.

When you say you've not seen the replay, does that mean you saw it live at San Diego? If so, maybe take a peak at replay as it didn't seem like a situation where Hanny overshot the point where he needed to square it up.

Not a single hater can answer why Cunningham nearly came together with Hansen over the finish line jump. You want to almost land on an already hurt rider and then want him to be nice?

I just received confirmation of the same. KC tossed his rear wheel in Hansen's face right before the incident.

Jim, did you talk to Kyle? I'm betting on "no". There will be those that say yes and those that say no...go with whichever makes the story fall your way. I DID talk to Kyle and it was not on purpose. Most everyone riding last night was scrubbing and whipping over the jump in order not to land flat...believe what you will based on who you talked to...confirmation - NO, just another opinion. Each side has their own truth. Don't know why I keep wasting my time with this...ya'll don't want truth - you feed on drama.

barrington, you'd be better off letting your pile of steaming shit lay undisturbed...but since you brought it up.

In your post in this thread, your comment on Hansen's pass was...."i like it. makes the race more interesting and not boring, and gives the old cry babies something to complain about."

But then, I'm not sure what your opinion is on the subject as you posted something entirely different on a local forum...

http://www.pitracer.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?2479-Hanson-is-a-Ricky…

So, I'm not really on your nuts, just trying to figure out where you really stand on the topic.

No I didn't talk to Kyle. I don't know Kyle and his family, and he's a little before my time. The info came from someone on the floor who is in the media.

Ok, well...it is nice to meet you - I am part of Kyle's family. I take pride in raising him to be a good sport and ride as safely as possible in each and every situation. I take this opportunity to invite you to come and meet him and judge for yourself what kind of person he is...good guy - I assure you. I realize you are not questioning his character as such, I just wanted you to know. I don't know who on the "floor" you talked to, but they must not have watched everyone else out there on the track. Kyle did nothing different than most of the guys riding last night. Unfortunately for Kyle, Josh was the guy next to him at the time. Hope to meet you soon, Jim, come by and introduce yourself. You can ask Kyle for his "opinion" on what happened out there. I can only reiterate once more that there are 2 truths here and depending on who you "side" with...that seems to be the way your truth will roll. I just ask for consideration when voicing the opinions, because no one on this board to my knowledge has spoken to Kyle and "confirmed" his actions. Oh, and Jim...you know us now -- hope to meet you soon.

I am not the guy to question a riders character, in fact I am the guy that is always in defensive mode when it comes to a rider. Through out this thread, I have never even brought the jump incident into play, because I didn't know if it actually happened or not. After I received confirmation, I acknowledge it. As you know, things happen on the track and they can look worse, and more aggressive than they really are. I totally agree that there are two sides to every story, but what I saw when Kyle went down was a racing incident, just as when Kyle and Roczen ended up on the ground.

Kids like Josh and Kyle get caught up in the moment, and don't always make the right decision. It's a normal process, and nothing to get excited about.

Nice to meet you L Cunningham.

No problem with mothers giving their opinions. This is a board open to anyone's opinions isn't it?

BTW: It really sucks when you read shit on a place like this about your kid.

Some think that Stewart is a little bitch for jumping on JT. Not my opinion but the reality is that those who dislike him think it's a fact.

It all goes back to the fact that motoboard experts have different standards for different riders.

It would be really good to see all the people hansen has taken out this season take him out at las vegas when it will matter most for him. I mean every single one of them durring the same race so he gets last place and looses the championship. I would be so happy he thinks he is like the king or something and everyone should get out of his way.

I'm usually the first to gripe about un-necessarily aggresive riding but I must have been watching a different broadcast than everyone else. What I saw was Hanny riding Kyle high...but really only enough to say, "hey man...how do you like them apples". He didn't take him into the tough blocks or just ride over him. Pretty calm stuff imho.

Riding him high? KC was on the ground after his leg and front wheel got taken out.

I've watched the race 3 times now and never saw anyone go across the finish line jump and throw as big a whip as Kyle did when he was passing Josh. I wasn't there so I didn't see every single guy go over it every single lap but I did see every guy go across the finish line jump that was televised. I definitely think there was some attitude Kyle was throwing at Josh as he was passing him and pehaps it was deserved, I don't know their history. I'm not saying Kyle is not a good kid either as I don't know him from Adam, just think he got caught up in the heat of a battle with Josh and decided to stick it to him just a bit. If you turn up the volume and listen closely you can even hear Josh yelling at Kyle after they land and make that next right hand turn. I think Kyle should probably have known that Josh was going to be coming in hot that next corner after showing him his rear wheel and then hearing Josh yell at him so going wide in that next left hander was probably not a great idea. I think if Kyle would have just passed him and not thrown that whip at him Josh would have let him go. Josh played nice with Decotis when Decotis got by so I don't know why he would have changed his attitude when Kyle got by him unless he felt he was being shown up. I've never been a big Josh Hanson fan but it's nice to see him taking full advantage of this chance that Mitch has given him. It's also nice to see someone fighting for a championship and decide that he won't be pushed around just because he's injured and vulnerable right now. Gotta give it to Josh for toughing it out these last two races, he's showing a lot of heart .
