What are the prop bet odds on Cadillac scoring a point this year now? $1B to 1?
Max wants out, and this contract is Red Bull's way of trying to save face.
Is Max at Red Bull -thru- 2027...or is his contract ending this season?
Btw, I'm thinking RB's sponsorship package...Ford, etc. ...will be affected by their ability to retain Max...or not.
I'd expect this latest contract news to be like blood in the water for the other teams.
Me? I'd put him in a Ferrari. That move has worked in the past.
Ferrari, or McLaren would be good for him I would think.
Piastri is probably getting tired of whatever they've been doing to him this year, but who goes from Ferrari? LeClerc, I guess?
As far as the TV package goes...
I found this Awful-Announcing link back in mid-March about Apple being vague with viewership numbers:
https://awfulannouncing.com/racing/apple-claims-beat-espn-f1-viewership…
Here is another link I found today...
Following up the other link about audience figures at half year.
Apple won't support their claim with audience numbers that they deliver "excellent viewership and engagement.

I trust the OG-Vital-Brain-Trust with all thinks Motosport related.
...and I am not seeing very many positives in this thread...
...when a motosport fan posts:
"Them screwing up the races with their voo-doo doo-doo probably has the most to do with it"
...then I am out, although I am hearing more and more that the broadcast is suspect as well...
...I also miss Brundle's grid walk before the starts...
...oh well, maybe in a few years when they pull their collective heads out of their asses.
Couple of people saying they preferred the ESPN or sky coverage. You do know you can still watch that coverage on Apple TV right? You don’t have to watch the standard one, both are on there
Alonso still has negotiating power. Good for him.
The hybrid hype in the early 2000's set a lot of this BS in motion. In 2014 F1 went hybrid the same year Formula e came out. And the purists among the racing world hated it but F1 (Bernie) had their heads so far up the asses of the tree hugging eco-freaks they ignored all the noise, that wasn't coming from the farting 6cyl. You can see this current engine package abomination being setup about 3 years ago when Liberty had their ears inundated by the same eco crowd. No one at Liberty had any balls to say the truth and tell everyone to fuck off.
Sometimes it takes a swift kick in said balls for an organization to wake up and remember who the customers are. I still have my doubts they'll get it completely figured out. Sorry for the rant. I have to finish my WNBA draft eligibility paperwork.
HA!
Yep, spot on.
Made a really cool purchase today.
A McLaren...
I guess now I'm contributing to Oscar, and Lando's paychecks.
My buddy just bought an Aston Martin Alonso offering from Glenfiddich. I'll have to show him this. He may be too big a whiskey snob, but who knows. 🤣
Funny thing is, I'm pretty sure he had no idea who Alonso is, or that he drives for Aston.
He'd know Aston is in F1, because of advertisements he saw in the UK. 😆
Pit Row
Didn’t see that on the horizon.
Netherlands
Sprint Qualifying
Isack Hadjar is out with a wrist injury.
That means they’re bringing Liam Lawson back up to Red Bull from Racing Bulls and Yuki Tsunoda will return to Racing Bulls for the Dutch Grand Prix.
I still can't get into the sprint races. There's rarely anything happening after the start. It's bad enough in full GPs.
The bulls teams putting in a good showing.
Yuki having a strong showing jumping into these new cars and putting in a 12th for sprint quali is pretty impressive even if hes bringing up the rear of the middle front cars.
Alonso will be the car with the most passes buy the end of the race if theres any passes to be done. I think once they get some of the bug worked out hes got a bit of pace in him.
Sprint Race
I’m impressed w/Yuki. 1st time out in this generation and he’s holding his own. Maybe the time off did him some good?
Qualifying
That start was brutal for RB.
The restart was interesting; but, led to the usual almost “predetermined outcome” that this current generation of car provides as of late.
