I think it's clear that the people OF the United States would mean United State citizens.
Well, in legal terms, words have meaning. And also lack of words. So if you specify in one place "citizen" and not another, there's a strong argument that they intentionally left it out. It's kind of interesting how well written it is. And to think how young they were when they wrote it. But, it's all speculation between us because the constitution only means what SCOTUS tells us it means. Until then, in one area they use the term people and another area they are specific to say citizen. So, we'll agree to disagree.

Were you not already registered?
Another fail. You can take your own picture. They have instructions of what they want. Why do you make it so difficult on yourself?
And then blame others for what you didn't want to do (yourself correctly)? Hmmm

There are two "Save" acts. The "Save Act" and the "Save America Act". They both require proof when registering but the "Save America Act" requires proof when you vote. That one does it for me. IMHO, the Save America Act will cause more people like me to quit voting than it will prevent an illegal alien from voting. Keep stacking up the gun laws and at some point I won't bother to get one. Same thing.
People not understanding that the laws may be changing , and changeing what is acceptable proof is another problem. With so many people on here not realizing that the law could change and a birth certificate WOULDN"T be acceptable proof. Which makes no sense to me, if You can not use the same documents to vote, that it takes to get the document You need to vote. It's not about stopping non citizens from voting. If it was that simple a birth certificate should be good enough .
I wouldn't be surprised if You and I are the only people posting that have read through the actual bills.
There are states that are taking some of the laws and starting to enforce them at the state level. So even if it's not a federal change, it may still change at the local level and change what documents are acceptable.
I'm attaching a screen shot that will let people know if they live in a state that the process to register to vote, or vote has changed.
When you’re posting graphs, pie charts, or studies you’ve already lost.
We tried that going by their passport rules and it failed.
The $20 CVS passport photos failed 2 times and that was using 2 different pictures processed at CVS by the passport crew total of 4 pictures. BTW this is the same CVS that worked for both of us the 1st time 11 years ago.
We had to pay $20 each again for the pictures that we shot using a white sheet hanging from our fence in my back yard and processed by an on line passport company.
Why are the pictures shot by professionals more difficult ???
$340 total
Can't be wearing a gray or dark green shirt on the passport picture. I had mine done over 6 years ago and was informed that I need to wear a different shirt in the pic.
Not sure what you think I'm trying to prove. I'm not arguing anything so no chance of me winning or losing None of what I've posted in this thread has been an argument for or against the requirements. Most has been info that explains what may be required.
The only people that will be losing are the ones who try to vote and are told they can not due to not having the proper ID.
A regular Driver's lic. To vote or register to vote MAY just not be good enough ANYMORE depending on what state You live in .
That chart shows states Voting laws have been changed to ones that are similar to the SAVE act. And that are NEW, most put into law in 2026
I didn't bother reading most of the states changes. I saw my state hasn't changed yet so I'm all set as long as the federal law isn't changed.I know that anybody who doesn't just go check on their own is not going to care enough to read what I've said about their state. So whatever.
In NH in a local election they turned away 250 people from one polling station the first election they had when they put the new laws into place. There is a very strong chance that happens on a larger scale in many of those states with laws that have changed. It appears republicans are either in denial or hoping they can spread misinformation and stop others from voting. Not sure why else they would be saying misleading things about the required ID. Seems like it would hurt republicans if they show up without the proper ID and are unable to vote. After reading the Save act bills and knowing what would be required, In my opinion it's a strange strategy.
Are they just that stubborn that they have to disagree with their own laws if somebody they label as a liberal, TDS suffer/ non trump blower/etc. happens to retype them out?
But the good news is you can now get a passport with Trump's picture on it. 😆
"If voting made any difference, it would be illegal"... mark twain...
We are ruled by the epstein class... you voting means your compliance, nothing more...
Good grief the bullchit npc's are willing to beLIEve...
