I have mine ready to go again, VMXdN at Farleigh Castle this weekend.
Sorry lads, I lost my mother on the 9th, was with her till after the end...17 hours and she left me at 01:10 in the morning. Held her until her life departed. Stayed for her funeral. She lives 250 miles away. 95 all the way there. I'll be back shortly...walked to the shop today for the first time in 2 years so I'm pleased with that.
Later guys.
Sorry for your loss buddy, but good to have you back.
Cheers Phil, much appreciated mate. After 17 hours holding her, she took her last breath. I didn't let her go until I saw the life leave her about 10-15 mins later. She'd left us. It was the worst experience I've had. Everything is still rather raw, I was very close to her you see. The old Merc drove like a dream, a 98 C200 petrol. 500 miles mostly over 90mph, it was flawless. I'll work on her now, make her pretty again.
Still looking for a good 465 frame and good airbox Lol

Miss seeing this post updated. Hope everything is ok @ufopilot. Sorry for your loss.
I pulled my bike out yesterday and was thinking the same thing.
Bums me out that this build went quiet. Hope things are ok for UFOpilot.
Hi Phil, yes still here mate. Had loads on my plate. Should be back on it soon. Just the frame, a few other bits inc putting the engine together.
Hope all is well at your end?
Thats great to hear, these days folks going quiet is always a worry.
I am maybe looking at moving mine on, just have a busy year ahead with not a lot of time to ride, still got a few things to finalise , but will know by end of Feb.
Have a couple of other things in the pipeline, but spent winter working on the house, so not picked a spanner up.

That is never getting drawn.

In Memory of Gaza (UFOpilot) Continuing His Legacy
Hi everyone,
I’m Gaza’s daughter. I’m writing to share some heart-wrenching news with you all. On May 3rd, my dad passed away after battling pneumonia brought on by his COPD. He fought so hard, but unfortunately, he couldn’t recover this time.
I know how much he loved this community and how excited he was to build this Suzuki RM465 for me and my three little ones. Finding that engine was such a huge moment for him, and reading his posts shows just how much heart and miracle-working he put into everything he did.
I wanted to let you all know that his journey with this bike isn't over. A trusted friend of my husband is going to take over the build and bring his vision to life. He will also be keeping this blog updated with the progress as the bike comes together.
Keeping this blog alive and seeing his bike finished is deeply important to me. In a way, it feels like keeping a piece of him alive and honouring the incredible man and Dad he was.
Thank you all for being part of his journey and for any support you gave him along the way. Stay tuned we’re going to get this RM465 finished for him.
Stay safe, hold your love ones tight,
Gaza’s Daughter
Very sorry for your loss. Taking care of his unfinished business is an awesome tribute! I know I used to always check out his updates. He scrutinized every part of this build.
Very sad news. RIP UFOpilot! I really enjoyed following this build UFOpilot seemed to be a genuinely good guy. I hope the bike will turn out awesome just like he envisioned it
Sorry for your loss, I have often thought about your father and how this project and battle with his health has gone. As mentioned above, finishing his project is a fitting honor to him and his life. My condolences go out to you and the rest of your family.
So sorry for your loss!
RIP
Pit Row
I'm very sorry for your loss! 😪
My sincere condolences. Your father was a great man and an asset to this forum.
Let us know what you need to complete the build. There are enough of us here to lend a helping hand to finish that project. I’m sure somebody on this board will have the parts you’re n need of.
Oh man. Sorry for what you’re going through 😟
We shared a journey doing the same bikes, at the same time, he was one of the few guys that i spoke with on here with DM's and often wondered how he was doing , i know he went quiet a few times and always popped up again.
The fact we never met in person, was a shame, but i classed him as a friend anyway. I knew what he had been through and how much you guys meant to him.
So sorry for you loss , my thoughts are with you and your family.
Sincerest condolences to you and all his loved ones and friends. Ride In Peace UFOpilot, he put up a heck of a fight.❤️
