Absolutely...from what Ive heard coming in, Malcom was a slow turd...and BAM he comes out swinging in his very first pro heat and puts a 2nd place in the books!!
I am stoked, we have another player in the lites class!

I was there and Malcolm surprised the heck out of me. Way faster than anything I had heard about him.

BUT... there's a few names in the East that suprised me too, mainly Durham and Larson. They were both very fast but had bad luck in the main.

Definitely a possibility, but it's going to a lot of things going right for Malcolm to be on top of the box this season. It wouldn't shock me though. He should improve rapidly now that he's got one in the can.

But seriously, I wouldn't be that surprised after seeing Malcolm ride. He will only get better. That family had a horrid night on Saturday. Hopefully Malcolm can become known as Malcolm and not just "James' brother". He'll get there.

I can't wait for them to start referring to him as just Malcolm instead of james' brother. It's annoying. And i would also like to take the chance to call out whatever joe-blow that posted on here saying malcolm didnt deserve a ride because he didnt win a LL title - shove it.
Would be cool to see them both grab a win on the same night, not real likely but could happen with the right amount of luck.

He was fast so I would say yes. He seems to have those starts down also-well at least in Houston. If it wasn't for that first turn pileup he had the speed to podium.
