Just interested what everyone thinks or if anyone knows what forks will be on the next ktm factory edition?

I personally don't think they will come with the xact pro forks again and think that was just a one off. My guess is maybe the spring fork that comes on the xc models but that is just a guess.

Everything I’ve read is that the Cone Valves was a one time deal. Be nice if they came with 6500s.

Yeah I'm sure I heard the same thing about the conevalves.

From what I can figure the forks that come on the xc and I think the exc are basically 6500's without the external preload. There could be a few small differences but I think its very similar. It would make sense for ktm to go to this fork on the sxf models and only have to make one fork.

I thought with the spy photos that have been around someone might have got a shot of the top of the forks.

Cone valves were a one time thing that came from an overstock of them  at WP. I do think you will see spring forks going forward.

The spring forks on the off road bikes does seem to get good reviews. It would make sense to use a version of them for the MX bikes. I just hope they offer a 350 FE. Every KTM should come with an orange frame. I can dream...

I have a few of the newer, 24 plus, off road bikes I also use them for GP/MX. All have been sprung/valved for me but can easily say are some of the best if not the best forks I've ever had on any bike. I think most agree who have tried them. My money is a mx spec'ed version on all mx bikes going forward.

I thought it was just good marketing for KTM to try to move some bikes after their financial problems.

The 26 Factory editions were a really good value with the pro components!

Yeah I have been hoping for a 350FE for a long time but sadly I don't think it will ever happen. I swap between 350's and 450's all the time and always seem to come back to 350's, with my 25 350sxf being my all time favourite bike.

Not sure if I should hold out and get a 28 350 or just keep my 25 and add a new 450FE when they are released. New 450FE would look pretty good next to my 250sx and 350sxf ha ha.
